  • Publication number: 20070109234
Abstract: A LCD display method capable of over-driving the LCD panel of small, portable electronic apparatus is proposed. The display method includes the steps of: storing the input image data into a first random access memory (RAM); synchronously comparing a current image frame stored in the first RAM with a previous image frame stored in the second RAM; normally driving or over-driving a plurality of LCD pixels in accordance with the comparison result, wherein while a picture element of the current image frame is darker than the one positioning the same in the previous image frame, over-driving its corresponding LCD pixel; and copying the image data of current image frame stored in the first RAM to the second RAM for being the comparison reference of the next image frame.

  • Publication number: 20050206632
Abstract: An integrated display module having a register, a microprocessor, a display array, and a drive unit. The register stores required setting values as the integrated display module operates. When the integrated display module begins operating, the microprocessor unit writes an initial value to the register. The drive unit drives the display array according to the initial value.

  • Patent number: 6757023
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method and apparatus for displaying subtitles by a multination language human-machine interface that having small memory space occupation and conveniently for program maintenance. First of all, a character database is been edited, and in accordance with the character size to edit the bitmap file for each individual character. The bitmap file is then transferred to 80c51xa assembly language and stored in the character database. Then, the “string code”, the “string combination code and position shifting code”, and the “string combination code of multination language and position shifting code” of the controlling program are established, and the content of the character database is been called. During a practical usage, the desired string is been called by the controlling program, then carried out the language judgement of the exercising nation.

  • Patent number: 6747637
Abstract: The present invention provides an image data processing system to increase the speed of on-screen display (OSD) image processing. The image data processing system comprises M color code registers for storing a plurality of color codes and a first multiplexer electrically connected to every output port of the M color code registers. The first multiplexer comprises a control port for inputting an N-bit image code, and the first multiplexer chooses one of the outputs of the M color code registers as its output according to the N-bit image code. The image data processing system comprises a processor for storing M color codes in the M color code registers and periodically transmitting a plurality of N-bit image codes to the control port of the first multiplexer so that the first multiplexer periodically chooses one of the color codes stored in the M color code registers as its output according to one of the N-bit image codes.

  • Patent number: 6606672
Abstract: An electronic or information appliance, for example an LCD projector, air-conditioner or washing machine, which can use a data bus to read and write data at the same time. The electronic or information appliance comprises a data bus for transmitting data, an input device electrically connected with the data bus for providing data, an output device electrically connected with the data bus for receiving data, and a micro-controller electrically connected with the data bus for controlling the input device and output device. When the micro-controller reads a datum from the input device through the data bus, it writes the datum to the output device through the data bus at the same time to increase a data transmission speed between the input device and the output device.

  • Patent number: 6163315
Abstract: A process in displaying a video signal according to a sequence of synchronous pulses is disclosed. The process is based on the adjustment of timing of the active part of a video signal to be displayed. That is the starting point of active part of the video signal for each line-displaying is properly and immediately adjusted according to the detection if the trailing end of the previous active part of the video signal lags the synchronization pulse next to its leading end, whereby it can be achieved that the video signal is always displayed in a specified region and synchronization failure can be avoided.
