Abstract: A portable electrical device includes a tablet computer, a base panel, two supporting arms and two connecting members. Two ends of each supporting arm are pivotally disposed at one lateral side of the tablet computer and one lateral side of the base panel. The base panel has two guiding grooves oppositely arranged on one surface thereof. One end of the connecting member is pivoted with the lateral side of the tablet computer, and the other end of the connecting member is limited and slidably disposed in one of the guiding grooves. When the other ends of both the connecting members are at one distal end of the guiding groove, the tablet computer is stacked on the base panel, and a touch-controlled display of the tablet computer can alternatively face towards or opposite to the base panel.

Abstract: A touch scroller for a display is described. The touch scroller has a touch pad disposed beside the display to scroll the displaying image of the display. The touch pad may be constituted by an L-shaped touch pad and disposed at the corner of the display. The touch scroller can control the displayed image of the display by a user's finger without any additional tool. Accordingly, the touch scroller can be manufactured under lower cost and improve the operability of the display as compared to stylus-operated scrollers.

Abstract: A hard-disk protection apparatus is coupled to a hard disk applied to an electronic apparatus. The hard-disk protection apparatus includes a sensor and a circuit breaking device. The sensor is for sensing an acceleration of the hard disk as the hard disk is moved by an external force. The circuit breaking device determines whether to cut off the power supply from the electronic apparatus to the hard disk according to the magnitude of the acceleration.

Abstract: A mouse storage device for a computer comprises a hatch and a storage area. The storage area is located on a computer and comprises an open end and at least one elastic element. When the hatch is in an open position, a mouse stored therein is ejected from the storage area via elasticity produced by the elastic element. When the hatch is closed, the mouse can be stored in the storage area. A computer comprises a host and the mouse storage device as above.

Abstract: The invention provides a slim type optical storage drive for use in notebook computers. The inventive drive has no housing and is thereby slimmer than a conventional drive. The core of the drive comprises a control circuit board, a tray and a fixing portion for fixing the drive in a notebook computer. The core of the drive, while disposed in the notebook computer, is protected by the notebook computer rather than a housing. A notebook computer, provided with a slim type optical storage drive of the invention, is lighter, slimmer, and less expensive.
