  • Patent number: 11386697
Abstract: The present disclosure teaches a method of utilizing image “match points” to measure and detect changes in a physical object. In some cases “degradation” or “wear and tear” of the physical object is assessed, while in other applications this disclosure is applicable to measuring intentional changes, such as changes made by additive or subtractive manufacturing processes, which may, for example, involve adding a layer or removing a layer by machining. A system may include a scanner, and a digital fingerprinting process, coupled to an object change computer server. • Publication number: 20220114243
Abstract: A method, system and software for control of data, particularly although not exclusively personal data, through the use of digital fingerprints enables a person to “opt in” to a system containing data about him and secure that data by a biologically-based digital fingerprint (such as of his hand or face). In another case, a user may be automatically (involuntarily) inducted into a system. Either way, the present disclosure enables a user to opt out of the system, again using his digital fingerprint. Upon execution of an opt out process, his digital fingerprint is removed from the system, along with any data solely pertaining to that user.

Abstract: Disclosed are nucleated red blood cell warning devices and methods, and flow cytometers using the same. The devices, methods and flow cytometers can warn whether nucleated red blood cells exist in a blood sample. The warning device may obtain forward-scattered light information, side-scattered light information and fluorescence information when cells in the blood sample pass through a detection region of the flow cytometer. The warning device may generate a side-scattered light-fluorescence dot plot, so as to classify leucocytes into four groups, and may generate a forward-scattered light-fluorescence dot plot, where the forward-scattered light-fluorescence dot plot can include a leucocyte group region. The warning device may obtain a predetermined feature region located at the left side of the leucocyte group region, perform statistics on the amount of characterization cells in the predetermined feature region, and provide a warning when the number of the characterization cells exceeds a threshold value.

  • Publication number: 20210233203
Abstract: Digital fingerprints include data indicative of interior features or structures of an object. The physical object may be rigid or malleable. The digital fingerprints may also include data indicative of features on an exterior surface of the object. Digital fingerprints may uniquely identify an object with respect to other objects, even with respect to other objects of a same type or class of objects. The technology may be relatively invariant to changes in scale, rotation, affine, homography, perspective, and illumination as between a reference digital fingerprint and a later acquired or generated digital fingerprint. Digital fingerprints may be used to authenticate an object as being a second instance or appearance of a previously digitally fingerprinted object.

  • Publication number: 20210197819
Abstract: Techniques for determining a location for a vehicle to join a route structure are discussed herein. A vehicle computing system may operate the vehicle off the route structure according to an inertial-based reference frame. The vehicle computing system may determine a lateral distance of the vehicle to a route of the route structure and an angular difference between a heading of the vehicle and a direction of travel associated with the route. The vehicle computing system may determine a location to rejoin the route based on the lateral distance and the angular difference. In some examples, the vehicle computing system may determine the location based on a sigmoid function. The vehicle computing system may determine a vehicle trajectory to the location and may control the vehicle to the route based on the vehicle trajectory and the inertial-based reference frame.

  • Patent number: 10999704
Abstract: In one embodiment, a movement footprint of a user walking along a wall in the environment is determined at least in part based on a communication between a first communication device and a second communication device. The first communication device is carried by the user, and the second communication device is placed in the environment. A representation of the spatial division of the environment is generated based on the determined movement footprint. An estimated size associated with at least one reference object in the environment is determined according to the representation of the spatial division, and a reference size associated with the at least one reference object is obtained. Further, the representation of the spatial division is adjusted based on the estimated size and the reference size.

  • Publication number: 20210096565
Abstract: Techniques and methods for identifying parking zones. For instance, a vehicle may identify a parking zone located near a destination location for the vehicle. The vehicle may then generate one or more lines representing the parking zone. Additionally, the vehicle may generate polygons representing objects located proximate to the parking zone. The vehicle may then determine whether the one or more lines intersect with one or more of the polygons. If the vehicle determines that the one or more lines intersect with one or more of the polygons, then the vehicle may identify one or more first portions of the parking zone that are occupied by one or more objects and as such, unavailable. Using the one or more first portions, the vehicle may identify one or more second portions of the parking zone that are not occupied by objects and as such, available.
