  • Publication number: 20190220114
Abstract: A mutual capacitive touch panel includes a first electrode layer and a second electrode layer. The first electrode layer includes a plurality of electrode groups and a plurality of electrode groups arranged in an array. The first electrode groups located at the same column are electrically connected to a form a first electrode series, and the second electrode groups located at the same column are electrically connected to form a second electrode series. The second electrode layer includes a plurality of electrode strip groups insulated from one another and sequentially arranged along a column direction of the array, wherein each of the electrode strip groups extends along a row direction of the array and overlaps, a perpendicular projection direction, electrode groups of two adjacent rows, and two adjacent of the electrode strip groups overlap, in the perpendicular projection direction, the electrode groups of the same row.

  • Publication number: 20190196620
Abstract: The present invention provides a mutual capacitive touch panel including a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer. The first conductive layer includes a plurality of electrodes arranged in an array and a plurality of connecting line segments. In each column of the array, the electrodes in the ((N×M)-1)th row are electrically connected to one another through some of the connecting line segments to form a first electrode series, and the electrodes in the (N×M)th row are electrically connected to one another through some of the connecting line segments to form a second electrode series. The second conductive layer includes a plurality of electrode strips extending along a row direction of the array and respectively overlapping the electrodes located at the corresponding row. Each electrode strip includes a plurality of shielding portions, each of which overlaps one corresponding of the connecting line segments.

  • Publication number: 20190147211
Abstract: A fingerprint sensor of a fingerprint sensing device includes a first electrode strip and at least two second electrode strips adjacent to the first electrode strip. A driving method of the fingerprint sensor includes: providing a first voltage signal to the first electrode strip, and simultaneously providing at least two second voltage signal to the second electrode strips, respectively; and measuring a self capacitance value of the first electrode strip to determine whether a touch occurs at the fingerprint sensor, wherein the first voltage signal and each of the second voltage signals have a first voltage difference at a first time point and have a second voltage difference at a second time point, the first voltage difference and the second voltage difference are substantially equal, and the self capacitance value of the first electrode strip is performed at the second time point.
