  • Publication number: 20260151958
Abstract: A 3D printing system includes a tank containing a liquid photopolymer resin. A textured surface is fixedly disposed in the tank and through which light is configured to pass into the liquid photopolymer resin. A layer of an inert material is directly disposed between the textured surface and the liquid photopolymer resin. The layer of the inert material is disposed directly on the textured surface. The light is configured to pass through the layer of the inert material into the liquid photopolymer resin. The layer of the inert material is substantially immiscible and non-reactive with the liquid photopolymer resin. A refractive index of the inert material is approximately equal to a refractive index of the textured surface to minimize diffraction of the light passing through the textured surface.
