    Abstract: A reflective display panel includes a first substrate, a second substrate, pixel structures, spacers, a first alignment layer, a second alignment layer, a liquid crystal layer, and light shielding patterns. The pixel structures are disposed on the first substrate. The spacers and the liquid crystal layer are disposed between the first and second substrates. The first alignment layer is disposed on the first substrate and has a first alignment direction. The second alignment layer is disposed on the second substrate and has a second alignment direction. Each spacer has a first side edge and a second side edge facing away from each other and sequentially arranged along the first or second alignment direction. In a stacking direction of the first and second substrates, each light shielding pattern overlaps with the second side edge of one of the spacers, but does not overlap with the first side edge thereof.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a method of adjusting tone of a display, including setting a gamma value range according to an input signal, adjusting a gamma value of each of a plurality of grayscales within a grayscale range so that a plurality of gamma values of the grayscales gradually change within the gamma value range and are different from one another, and adjusting an image signal according to the adjusted gamma values of the grayscales and outputting the adjusted image signal to a display panel. The adjusted gamma values of the grayscales increase or decrease as a grayscale level of each grayscale rises. A display adopting the method of adjusting tone of the display is also provided.

The anti-peep element includes a liquid crystal layer, a first anti-peep electrode layer and a second anti-peep electrode layer. The liquid crystal layer is located between the first and second anti-peep electrode layers. The temperature sensor is adapted to sense an ambient temperature. The voltage adjustment circuit is coupled to the temperature sensor. The driving circuit is coupled to the voltage adjustment circuit and the anti-peep element. When the ambient temperature is a first ambient temperature and the anti-peep element operates in an anti-peep mode, the driving circuit outputs a first driving voltage to the anti-peep element; when the ambient temperature is a second ambient temperature and the anti-peep element operates in the anti-peep mode, the driving circuit outputs a second driving voltage to the anti-peep element.

    Abstract: A reflective display panel includes a first substrate and a second substrate. A thin film transistor and a reflective layer are disposed on the first substrate. A color resist layer is disposed on the second substrate. The reflective display panel includes a color sub-pixel region and a white sub-pixel region adjacent to each other. The color sub-pixel region has the color resist layer, and the white sub-pixel region has no color resist layer. A buffer layer is disposed in the white sub-pixel region on the first substrate or the second substrate. A cell gap between the first substrate and the second substrate in the white sub-pixel region is smaller than a cell gap between the first substrate and the second substrate in the color sub-pixel region. In this way, reflectivity and chromaticity can be improved.
