  • Publication number: 20050214931
Abstract: A system and method for analyzing a biochip are provided. Wherein, a first modulator circuit outputs a first modulated signal with a first frequency. A first light source module output a first light beam based on the first modulated signal. A first optical signal is generated after the first light beam being emitted onto the biochip. An optical sensing module sense the first optical signal and outputting a first sensing signal. A first filter circuit filters the first sensing signal and outputting a first portion sensing signal. A first demodulator circuit demodulates the first portion sensing signal and outputting a first demodulated signal. An analog to digital converter convert the first demodulated signal to a first digital signal. A signal display module receives and display the first digital signal.

  • Publication number: 20050143668
Abstract: An automatic diagnosing method for the autonomic nervous system and a device thereof are described. The device comprises a sensor, a computing device and an output device. An electrode of the sensor is adhered to the skin surface of a subject to detect and output the heart beat signal of the subject. The computing device collects the heart beat signal from the electrodes through the signal collection leads. The computing device further amplifies, filters, digitizes and transforms the heart beat signals into a plurality of heart rate variability parameters. Further, calculations, validation and analysis are performed on these parameters. After selecting a corresponding diagnosis description statement from a lookup table in a database, an examination report, which incorporates the diagnosis description statement and the heart rate variability parameters is output.

  • Publication number: 20050136432
Abstract: A mycobacterial disease microarray detection chip includes a plurality of probes immobilized on a matrix, wherein each of the probe is selected from the group of deoxyribonucleotide sequences depicted in the SEQ ID NOs. 1 to 66. Since these probes are formed with deoxyribonucleotide sequences specific to mycobacterial disease, they can be used to detect whether the patient has contracted mycobacterial disease and the mycobacterial disease pathogen infected the patient has drug resistance.

  • Publication number: 20050130185
Abstract: A sepsis microarray detection chip includes a plurality of probes immobilized on a matrix, wherein each probe is selected from the group of deoxyribonucleotide sequences depicted in the SEQ ID NOs. 1 to 66. Since these probes are formed with deoxyribonucleotide sequences specific to sepsis, they can be used to detect sepsis.

  • Publication number: 20050130186
Abstract: A meningitis microarray detection chip includes a plurality of probes immobilized on a matrix, wherein each probe is selected from the group of deoxyribonucleotide sequences assigned to the SEQ ID NOs. 1 to 61. Since these probes are formed with deoxyribonucleotide sequences specific to meningitis, they can be used to detect meningitis.
