    Abstract: A method resolves a problem of a slow mail downloading speed caused by a fact that an existing dual-mode dual-pass terminal cannot effectively utilize a network resource. The method includes obtaining a first transmission rate of a first network connection and a second transmission rate of a second network connection, obtaining a new mail list from a mail server, where the new mail list includes identifiers (IDs) of N mails and a data size of each mail in the N mails, creating a first download task and a second download task according to a preset rule, the first transmission rate, the second transmission rate, and the new mail list such that download time of the N mails is the shortest, downloading a mail indicated by the first download task using the first network connection, and downloading a mail indicated by the second download task using the second network connection.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, an apparatus, and a network system for a terminal to traverse a private network to communicate with a server in an IMS core network. The method includes: the terminal sets a source address of service data to be sent as a virtual IP address, sets a destination address of the service data to be sent as an address of an internal network server, and obtains a first service packet, where the virtual IP address is an address allocated by the IMS core network to the terminal, encapsulate the first service packet into a first tunnel packet, and send the first tunnel packet to the security tunnel gateway over a VPN tunnel between the terminal and a security tunnel gateway, then the security tunnel gateway sends the first service packet in the first tunnel packet to the internal network server.

The method includes: receiving an encrypted packet sent by a client by using a virtual private network (VPN) tunnel, wherein the encrypted packet is sent by the client after the client determines, according to a preset control policy, that the control policy comprises an Internet Protocol (IP) address and a port number that are the same as a destination IP address and a destination port number of a packet to be sent and encrypts the packet to be sent, and the control policy comprises information about an IP address and a port number of an intranet server that can exchange a packet with a security socket layer protocol (SSL) VPN server; decrypting the encrypted packet; and sending the decrypted packet to a corresponding intranet server, wherein a source IP address of the decrypted packet is an external network IP address.
