    Abstract: The present invention discloses an enzymatic reaction-based clock oscillator for biochemical reaction computers, which uses the concentration or activity of substances or enzymes as a signal, and realizes the self-feedback regulation of the chemical signal through the mutual catalysis of the multiple substances and enzymes, so as to output the periodically changing chemical signal. Compared with the traditional electronic oscillator, the output signal of the clock oscillator provided by the present invention is a chemical signal, so the clock oscillator can be directly used in the biochemical reaction computers without the conversion between an electrical signal and the chemical signal.

    Abstract: A biochemical reaction logic gate based on an enzymatic reaction, wherein input and output signals of the biochemical reaction logic gate are the concentrations or activities of substances and an enzyme in a reaction system. The logic implementation and the cascade of the logic gate are based on a plurality of enzymatic reactions. When the concentrations or activities of the substances which represent the input signal change, the concentrations of a substrate and a product of the enzymatic reaction change, and the concentrations of the other substances change accordingly. The biochemical reaction logic gate has the characteristics of reusability, cascading, a low delay, and a low power consumption, is a basic component for forming computer logic, and can be used for constructing a biochemical reaction central processing unit and a biochemical reaction computer.

    Abstract: Disclosed is a biochemical computer latch based on enzymatic reactions. Input, output and storage signals of the latch are concentrations or activities of substances or enzymes. Bistable characteristics of the latch are implemented by a plurality of enzymatic reactions that interact with each other. When the plurality of enzymatic reactions are catalyzed by each other, a positive feedback regulation of enzyme concentration or activity can be achieved, so that the biochemical computer latch can be stabilized in one of a plurality of states and stores information in the state. The latch can change the state thereof by means of a change in the input signal, so as to modify the stored information, and can also read the stored information by means of the output signal. Compared with traditional semiconductor latches, the disclosed can be more conveniently used in biochemical computers without conversion between an electrical signal and a chemical signal.
