Abstract: The present invention discloses a local network and a method for establishing a connection between a local gateway and a home base station therein. As regards a newly proposed home base station network architecture 1, a mobility management network element receives L-GW information sent by the home base station, selects an L-GW which is located in the same local network as the home base station at least according to the received L-GW information and then informs the L-GW, through an S-GW, of establishing a PDN connection and a tunnel bearer with the home base station, thereby providing a local IP access for a UE. As regards a newly proposed home base station network architecture 2, no direct interface is arranged between the L-GW and the S-GW, the mobility management network element directly selects a corresponding L-GW for establishing a PDN connection for the UE.

Abstract: A method includes, when a UE enters a first core network device and performs a location update, determining, by the first core network device and at least according to that a timer does not time out, that context information of the UE is available, and sending, by the first core network device, to a second core network device, a location update request that includes information that the context information of the UE is available. The method further includes executing, by the first core network device, the location update at least according to saved context information of the UE. The timer is sent to the first core network device by the second core network device before the UE enters the first core network device and when the UE leaves the first core network device and performs the location update. Alternatively, the timer is saved in the first core network device in advance.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a cell access processing method and apparatus and a communication system. In a cell access processing method, an access request message is sent by a terminal. The access request message includes identification information of the terminal. A CSG information request message is sent to a CSG subscription information server of a roaming network. The CSG information request message includes the identification information of the terminal. A CSG information response message is sent by the CSG subscription information server according to the CSG information request message. The CSG information response message includes CSG information corresponding to the identification information of the terminal. Access control is performed on the terminal according to the CSG information.
