  • Publication number: 20140076877
Abstract: A heating apparatus for electric blankets/carpets comprising: a heating element; an adhesive tape material integrally combined and wrapping the heating element; a metal conductor connected to two opposing ends of each of the heating element and the adhesive tape material in a series-parallel manner; and a lead connecting the metal conductor and a power source terminal, wherein a space is defined between the adjacent heating elements. The present invention provides a manufacturing method of a heating apparatus for electric blankets/carpets, comprising the steps of: (a) using a heating element; (b) causing an adhesive tape material to be integrally combined and to wrap the heating element therein; (c) causing a metal conductor to connect to two opposing ends of each of the heating element and the adhesive tape material in a series-parallel manner; and (d) causing a lead to connect the metal conductor and a power source terminal.

  • Publication number: 20110247119
Abstract: A welding mask includes a mask body formed with a viewing window, and an eye shield assembly including a window frame, a lens and a resilient positioning frame. The window frame is connected to the mask body, surrounds the viewing window, and includes an inwardly projecting stop and an opposing pair of inwardly projecting retaining portions disposed rearwardly of the stop. The lens is disposed removably between the stop and the retaining portions. The positioning frame is disposed removably between the lens and the retaining portions. The positioning frame defines a convex surface facing a direction away from the lens, and abuts against the retaining portions to thereby result in resilient deformation of the positioning frame and enable the positioning frame to press the lens against the stop.

  • Publication number: 20110233193
Abstract: The present invention provides a flexible, flat heating strip using carbon filaments as a heating element, which includes: multiple carbon filaments; a thermoplastic material applied to two opposite surfaces of the carbon filaments to enclose them; and a power terminal provided at each of two opposite end portions of the carbon filaments. The flexible, flat heating strip can be of any size and can be extended when necessary. For example, a plurality of flexible, flat heating strips may be soldered together in series to extend and form a predetermined pattern; also, a single flexible, flat heating strip may be bent consecutively to form a predetermined pattern. A flexible, flat heating strip of the present invention is suitable for use with articles of all dimensions, including small articles (e.g., clothing, waist supports, and gloves) and large-area items (e.g., electric blankets, quilts).
