  • Publication number: 20260125424
Abstract: A bioactive peptide PCT-1, and preparation method and application thereof are provided. The amino acid sequence of the bioactive peptide PCT-1 is LNRTFE, as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, and the bioactive peptide PCT-1 has antioxidant and intestinal flora-regulating functions. Extracted from spirulina protein peptides, the bioactive peptide PCT-1 can significantly increase the activities of SOD and GSH-Px in serum, and significantly reduce the content of MDA in serum; its in vivo antioxidant activity is comparable to that of the positive control Trolox. Meanwhile, compared with the blank control group, the bioactive peptide PCT-1 can also reduce the ?-diversity index of intestinal flora, change the overall structure of intestinal flora, regulate the abundance of intestinal flora at various taxonomic levels, and significantly increase the contents of acetic acid and butyric acid. Therefore, the bioactive peptide PCT-1 can be applied in functional foods for antioxidation and intestinal flora regulation.

  • Publication number: 20250270290
Abstract: Disclosed in the present invention are a recombinant type-I humanized collagen polypeptide, and a preparation method therefor and the use thereof. The recombinant type-I humanized collagen polypeptide provided by the present disclosure comprises n repeats of a sequence as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1, wherein n is an integer greater than or equal to 1; the repetitive sequences are directly linked when n is an integer greater than or equal to 2; and optionally, the N-terminus of the recombinant type-I humanized collagen polypeptide contains an amino acid sequence capable of being cleaved off by the TEV protease. The recombinant type-I humanized collagen polypeptide provided by the present disclosure has an activity of promoting cell adhesion, the recombinant protein has an amino acid sequence selected from the amino acid sequence of natural collagen and does not generate immune response when applied to the human body, the preparation method therefor is simple, and high-yield collagen can be obtained at a low cost.

  • Publication number: 20220401689
Abstract: Systems and methods for enhancing wellness in a habitable space are provided. In some forms, an example system for enhancing wellness in a habitable space includes a control system having a processor, communication circuitry, and a memory. The communication circuitry of the control system is configured to communicate with one or more devices positioned within the habitable space. One or more sensors may also be positioned proximate the habitable space to detect indicia (e.g., biometric characteristics of a user, behavioral characteristics of a user, and environmental characteristics) and communicate the detected indicia to the control system. Based at least in part on the detected indicia, the control system is configured to trigger initiation of a scene in the habitable space by communicating a signal to at least one of the devices in the habitable space to adjust operation thereof.

  • Patent number: 7167965
Abstract: Data is migrated by moving a set of the data in a data storage system of a computer system. The method includes monitoring a performance of at least one executing application while moving the data in the data storage system. A change in the rate of moving is calculated in response to the monitored performance of the executing application. The rate of moving is modified in accordance with the calculated change.

  • Publication number: 20020174419
Abstract: A method and system for a migration executor of an on-line data migration engine is utilized to provide data migration of a user's data in a data storage system while maintaining application performance guarantees. In particular, the migration executor includes a monitor module configured to monitor performance metrics of a computer system executing foreground applications and the on-line data migration, where quality-of-service parameters computed from the performance metrics are forwarded to a controller module. The controller module of the migration executor is configured to compare the quality-of-service parameters of the computer system with performance goals for the foreground applications. The controller module may be further configured to issue commands to an actuator module that is configured to increase or decrease the rate of the data migration, where the actuator module is further configured to perform the data migration by executing a migration plan.
