  • Patent number: 6899515
Abstract: Cross flow fan having a plurality of unit fans assembled in succession with the unit fans twisted from each other at sides, and an air conditioner fitted with the same. The unit fan includes an annular rim, and a plurality of impellers arranged on a side of the rim vertical to, and along a circumference of the rim. The present invention provides a cross flow fan extension lines from the impellers of the unit fan have a phase difference with the extension lines from the impellers of an adjacent unit fan.

  • Patent number: 6761040
Abstract: Cross flow fan, and air conditioner fitted with the same, the cross flow fan including a plurality of annular rims arranged at regular intervals along a horizontal direction, and a plurality of blades on a side surface of the rim vertical thereto, and along a circumference direction of the rim, wherein pitch angles between two adjacent blades are not regular, the pitch angle taking a center of the rim as an apex, and a number of blades are 32 or 35. The pitch angles of the blades are designed by a computer optimization method taking a number of the blades and the like as parameters.

  • Patent number: 6254336
Abstract: A sirocco fan which reduces abnormal noise and improves air flow includes: a scroll 2 with an inlet wall 8 and a closed endwall 9, the inlet wall 8 having an inlet and the endwall 9 being opposed to the inlet wall 8; and an impeller 3 provided in the scroll 2, for suctioning and exhausting air, wherein a cutoff 7 of the sirocco fan 1 is inclined so as not to allow entire sections of a blade 10 of the impeller 3 to be simultaneously met entire sections of the cutoff 7 when the blade 10 of the impeller 3 passes through the cuttoff 7, thereby achieving stable air flow.
