Abstract: A speech recognition device comprises, a corpus processor which includes a refiner to classify collected corpora into domains corresponding to functions of the speech recognition device, and an extractor which extracts collected basic sentences based on functions of the speech recognition device with respect to the corpora in the domains, a database (DB) which stores therein the extracted basic sentences based on functions of the speech recognition device, a corpus receiver which receives a user's corpora, and a controller which compares a received basic sentence extracted by the extractor with collected basic sentences stored in the DB and determines the function intended by the user's corpora.

Abstract: A program selection method and a display apparatus thereof are provided. The program selection method includes generating a program list including at least one program title, determining whether there is a voice input for a program selection; searching for a desired program title corresponding to the voice input for the program selection among the at least one program title in the program list, and selecting a program corresponding to the desired program title based on the searching for the desired program title.

Abstract: An image processing apparatus, a method of controlling an image processing apparatus, and an interactive system are provided. The image processing apparatus includes: an output unit which outputs at least one a voice and a text; a voice collecting unit which collects a user voice; a first communication unit which transmits the user voice to a first server and receives text information corresponding to the user voice from the first server; a second communication unit which transmits the received text information to a second server; and a control unit which, if response information corresponding to the text information is received from the second server, controls the output unit to output a response message responding to the user voice based on the response information.

Abstract: A repeater, broadcast transmitting system, and method for relaying a broadcast signal between a gateway apparatus and a client apparatus are provided. The repeater includes a first interface which is configured to be connected to a gateway apparatus via a Wi-Fi communication protocol and is configured to receive a broadcast signal from the gateway apparatus; and a second interface which is configured to be connected to a client apparatus via the Wi-Fi communication protocol and is configured to transmit the broadcast signal to the client apparatus, wherein the first interface and the second interface use different frequency bands.

The management information is updated every predetermined period, and, if data for a corresponding title is completely recorded, the management information stored in the SRAM is recorded onto a certain area of the optical storage medium. If a power failure occurs during the recording of the data, a built-in battery operates and applies a predetermined voltage to the SRAM, so that the management information stored in the SRAM is maintained during the power failure.

Accordingly, corresponding moving images can be visually indexed so as to be directly accessed.
