  • Patent number: 10486539
Abstract: A charge demand controller device for electric vehicles or the like, preferably for installation with an existing residential electrical control panel, connects between a main switch and the electrical control panel made to operate at a maximum amperage value. The device includes a controller unit that constantly monitors an actual total load current at the input line connector from the main switch, and selectively operates a load switch controlling an electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE) upon the actual total load current being above or below a trip value being a predetermined safety ratio of the maximum amperage value.

  • Patent number: 8237094
Abstract: A pulse modulating heating system provides connection to a step heating system having a main heating controller configured for connection to a heat sensor and step heating relays connected to respective step heating element and for activating, during a heating cycle, a required quantity of mechanical relays and step heating elements to generate a required amount of heat. The pulse modulating heating system has inputs, one for each step heating relay, connectable to the main heating controller for detecting the relays activated during the cycle, i.e. the required quantity of relays. The pulse modulating system, based on the required quantity of step relays detected, activates a pulse heating element for a quantity of pulses relative to a maximum quantity of pulses for the cycle that is proportional to the required quantity of step relays relative the total number of step heating relays to generate the required amount of heat.

  • Publication number: 20110147631
Abstract: An air flow damper is formed of a multi-apertured flexible sheet sandwiched between two multi-apertured rigid plates, the sheet being slidable between the rigid plates and movable from an open configuration to a closed configuration in which latter the apertures of the rigid plates are sealably closed by the flexible sheet.

  • Patent number: 7942390
Abstract: A steam humidifier provided by the present invention has a tank having a reservoir section and a cover removably and sealingly secured thereto. The tank contains water during a humidifying operation in which the humidifier humidifies an indoor environment. The cover has a heating element mounted thereon and extending therefrom into the reservoir section and a steam outlet assembly mounted thereon and extending therethrough into the tank. The heating element evaporates at least a portion of the water during the humidifying operation into steam output through the steam outlet assembly to humidify the indoor environment.

  • Patent number: 6354572
Abstract: The present invention provides flow-through humidifier device having a frame assembly adapted to be secured onto an air supply duct and having a back wall with an air inlet opening, two side walls, one with an air outlet opening, top and bottom walls and a front cover wall, an evaporator assembly including a pad, a water supply member and a water drain member to supply unfiltered water at standard city pressure to and collect any excess of water from the pad member respectively. The water supply member includes a valve controlled by an air temperature electronic controller. The latter is electrically connected to a temperature sensor sensing the temperature of the air flowing and timely pulses the valve to open when the air temperature is above a pre-determined set temperature and allow for water to humidify the pad.

  • Patent number: 5965068
Abstract: A reversible housing for a humidifier of the type for attachment to the ducts of a forced air heating system. The housing includes a sheet forming a back wall, a pair of side walls and a top wall integrally hinged to the back wall and pivotable through one-half turn with respect to the latter so as to take two operative positions both protruding forwardly of the back wall depending which one of the back wall faces is disposed flat against the duct. The back wall has a central air passage opening bordered with flanges protruding from each of the back wall faces to connect with a duct opening. One of the side walls has a second air passage with flanges protruding from each of its two faces to selectively connect with a by-pass duct to the left or to the right of the housing. An angular cover and a water tray completes the housing and fit the sheet in either one of its two operative positions. A screwdriver is only required to secure the sheet in either one of its operative positions.
