  • Patent number: 7611851
Abstract: A Canis sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) receptor isoform 1 (cS1P1), the nucleic acid encoding the cS1P1 receptor, and methods for using the cS1P1 receptor and the nucleic acid encoding the cS1P1 receptor in assays for identifying analytes which modulate activity of the cS1P1 receptor.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: July 22, 2005
Date of Patent: November 3, 2009
    Assignee: Merck & Co., Inc.
Inventors: Suzanne M. Mandala, Cheryl Meyers, Gan-Ju Maria Shei
  • Publication number: 20090202987
Abstract: A Canis sphingosine-1-phosphate (S1P) receptor isoform 2 (cS1P2), the nucleic acid encoding the cS1P2 receptor, and methods for using the S1P2 receptor and the nucleic acid encoding the cS1P2 receptor in assays for identifying analytes that modulate activity of the cS1P2 receptor. The assays can identify analytes that are useful for treating or preventing cardiovascular diseases, disorders of the gastroenterology system, reproduction diseases, disorders of the peripheral and central nervous system, and respiratory diseases.

  • Patent number: 5101988
Abstract: A modular storage tray assembly is attached to a wall by means of a headpiece with two pins spaced a predetermined horizontal distance apart. A number of tray assemblies are suspended in series from the headpiece by means of these pins. Each tray assembly has a horizontal tray, a connecting member adapted to removably attach to the pins of the headpiece or to the tray assembly immediately above, and a pair of pins on the edges of the tray to permit attachment of the next tray assembly below. The spacing between each pair of pins is substantially uniform, so that the tray assemblies can fastened together in any order. Removable dividers can be inserted to divide the trays into separate compartments. A frame with a number of forward-extending members can be added below the bottom tray assembly to hang necklaces, bracelets or rings.
