Abstract: An example portable gate includes a platform. A frame is mounted to the platform, the platform configured to support a portable weight. A gate is movably supported by the frame. A drive system is configured to open and close the gate in both right-hand operation and left-hand operation based only on direction of travel of the drive system without other modification. A control panel may be operatively associated with the drive system to operate and/or configure operation of the portable gate.
