    Abstract: There is described a transmission arrangement wherein a substantially steady-state power source drives an input shaft. The output shaft is selectively driven by gear arrangements between the input and output shafts. The output shaft is driven and accelerated as a function of retardation which is supplied to the gear arrangement between the input and output shafts.
