  • Publication number: 20250087935
Abstract: A sealing system includes: at least one sheath having: a sheath cable entrance, a sheath cable exit, a sheath cable passage extending from the sheath cable entrance to the sheath cable exit, a first sheath section having a first sheath section diameter, and a second sheath section having a second sheath section diameter, the second sheath section diameter being larger than the first sheath section diameter; and a cable insertion guide insertable into the sheath cable passage, the cable insertion guide having a first guide section with a first guide section diameter. The first guide section diameter is larger than the first sheath section diameter. Insertion of the cable insertion guide into the sheath cable passage so as to dispose the first guide section within the first sheath section enlarges the first sheath section diameter.

  • Publication number: 20160174389
Abstract: An electroplating method for plating internal surfaces of holes in metal products uses a needle anode associated with an XYZ or multi-direction positioning device to position the needle such that an insertion portion of the needle anode is centered over a hole and inserted to a predetermined depth in the hole, with a discharge end located a predetermined distance from the inner end of the hole. Plating solution is supplied to the needle anode and flows continuously during plating from the discharge end of the needle, through a gap between the needle anode and inner surface of the hole, and out of the open end of the hole into a drain. In one example, the metal object is a terminal of an electrical connector and the hole is a solder cup at a terminal end of the connector.

  • Patent number: 8851939
Abstract: A solder-less wire connector sleeve of conductive material has a first bore portion extending from a first end and configured for rotatable connection to an end portion of an electrical rod or pin of a subsea connector or the like, and a second bore portion extending from the second end and configured for receiving a wire. The sleeve has a crimp portion overlying the wire receiving end portion. An annular, resilient, snap engaging member is mounted in the first bore portion to extend radially inwardly into the bore, and is configured for resilient, snap engagement in an annular groove in the conductor rod adjacent the tip of the rod to retain the rod in the sleeve while permitting relative rotation between the rod and sleeve.
