Publication number: 20240241816Abstract: An automated test generation system includes a processing system and a memory system in communication with the processing system. The memory system stores instructions of an automated test generator that when executed result in parsing a test input sheet to identify one or more inputs, outputs, and expressions that define software requirements in a logical form with respect to the inputs, accessing a data dictionary to determine limits of the inputs, applying test case generation rules to produce test cases to test whether a software configuration item under test meets the software requirements, and applying test script generation rules to produce test scripts that implement the test cases by setting values of the inputs to the software configuration item under test based on the limits and the expressions to verify the outputs.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 17, 2023Publication date: July 18, 2024Inventors: Prashanthkumar Kambadahalli Gangappa, Harishbhai Kanubhai Patel, Santhoshkumar Maddula, Asha Rani Ramappa, Manjunath Rajashekar, Chethan Kumar Chikkabhandara Basavarajaiah

Patent number: 12034493Abstract: Mismatch detection using periodic structures is provided. Embodiments described herein can measure and detect mismatch between two loads in a radio frequency (RF) system without the need for external calibration by referencing their measurements into a small set of parameters that are intrinsic to the RF system design. This approach can be used to compare impedances of two loads and measure their impedances relative to each other without requiring any external calibration (e.g., the approach does not assume any prior known physical quantities in the system, such as a reference impedance). This approach can be used to compare the two loads to each other, as well as to quantify the amount of mismatch between these loads by calculating reflection coefficient between the loads. Loads can be passive devices, such as antennas, or they can be active devices, such as amplifiers.Type: GrantFiled: September 30, 2021Date of Patent: July 9, 2024Assignees: Arizona Board of Regents on behalf of Arizona State University, Texas Instruments IncorporatedInventors: Muslum Emir Avci, Chethan Kumar Y. Publication number: 20180121237Abstract: Performance of a virtual machine system is improved by avoiding and/or eliminating bottlenecks in read and write operations. The system analyzes current virtualized workloads and provides working set estimates for individual VMs, hosts, and clusters. The working set estimate data is then utilized to make specific recommendations for different types of backend storage technologies. After procuring a storage device, the system provides a variety of information to aid in the operation of the system. From this information, the system can detect various scenarios and proactively make recommendations to the user about ways in which to improve storage performance at a host level and at a per-VM level. In some embodiments, these recommendations may be implemented automatically without user involvement.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 24, 2017Publication date: May 3, 2018Inventors: Bryan Jeffrey Crowe, Satyam B.
