    Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to Information Technology (IT) and more particularly to methods and systems for IT Portfolio Transformation. In one embodiment, a method for transforming a portfolio of assets is disclosed. The method includes capturing, via a processor, an existing state of each of a plurality of objects and interdependencies amongst the plurality of objects based on at least one criterion selected for rationalization of the plurality of objects. The method further includes creating, via the processor, an assessment design to identify a plurality of gaps in the existing state of the plurality of objects. Thereafter, the method includes performing analysis, via the processor, on information collected corresponding to each of the plurality of gaps and employing feedback and machine learning on the analysis performed to generate a transformation roadmap for the portfolio of assets.
