Abstract: A container comprising a base (4), a case (2) having a closed end that is pivoted to the base (4) and an open end, and a lid hinged (3) to the open end of the case (2) and having a closed end connected to the base (4) pivotally by lugs (7) slidable in slots (8) in the base (4) such that the container can be held in one hand and simultaneously opened using only that hand. For this purpose, the base (4) has a cut-through through which a finger can push the case (2) from the underside of the base (4) to open the container. The base (4) has trimming to hide mechanical features of the container and latching means (5, 6) to hold the container closed.

Abstract: The present invention provides a novel unsulfurized, carboxylate-containing additive for lubricating oils, comprising a mixture of alkaline earth metal salts (hydrocarbyl phenate/hydrocarbyl salicylate) and a reduced amount of unreacted hydrocarbyl phenols, as well as additive packages, concentrates and finished oil compositions comprising the same. Specifically, it relates to additives comprising said mixture in which said hydrocarbyl salicylate is primarily single-aromatic-ring hydrocarbyl salicylate. The invention also provides a method for producing said additive.
