  • Patent number: 7942164
Abstract: A dual-purpose gas stove switch includes a valve body and a valve seat. The valve body includes an inlet passageway, an interior passageway, a nozzle having a mouth, a compensation nozzle, and a compensation passageway in communication with the compensation nozzle. A valve core is received in a chamber formed by the valve body and the valve seat. The valve core includes a blind hole in communication with the mouth via the interior passageway. The valve core includes four holes and a compensation hole. The valve core is rotatable to make the four holes to be in selective communication with the inlet passageway. The compensation hole can be in communication with the compensation passageway and the compensation nozzle. Thus, the switch can be selectively utilized with liquefied petroleum gas or natural gas.

  • Publication number: 20080041455
Abstract: A gas safety valve includes a main body having a first passageway, a second passageway, a third passageway, and a fourth passageway that have various inner diameters. Two ends of the second passageway are respectively in communication with the first passageway and the third passageway. The third passageway is in communication with the fourth passageway. A spring is mounted in the second passageway and longer than the second passageway. A ball is mounted in the third passageway and has a diameter larger than an inner diameter of the second passageway. A sealing ring and a restraining member are fixed in the fourth passageway. When gas flows from backward to the gas safety valve, the ball is pushed backward against the sealing ring and thus blocks a passageway of the sealing ring, preventing outflow of the gas.

  • Patent number: 6470914
Abstract: A switch device for a gas burner includes a body engaged with a housing. The body defines an axial hole for rotatably receiving a driven shaft which has a first end secured in a rotation knob and a second end engaged with a barrel which can be rotated by the driven shaft. The barrel is screwed in the housing which is connected to a primary flame nozzle. When the rotation knob is pressed, the valve rod mounted in the barrel is forced by driven shaft to move linearly so as to open the valve hole directed toward the auxiliary flame. When the rotation knob is rotated, the passage directed toward the primary flame nozzle is opened.

  • Patent number: 6405751
Abstract: A gas safety valve comprises a main body, a valve seat, a restraining member, and an engaging member. The main body includes an inner threading for threading engagement with the valve seat and the restraining member. The valve seat comprises a valve block, a spring, and an adjusting element. The position of the adjusting element can be adjusted when an elastic constant of the spring is not within a predetermined operational range, a distance between the valve block and the valve seat is thus varied to assure blockage of a longitudinal through-hole of the valve seat by the valve block, thereby preventing mass leakage.

  • Patent number: 6155285
Abstract: A gas safety valve includes a main body having a longitudinal through hole that defines a gas passage. A ball is moved to a position blocking the gas passage when a sudden pressure drop occurs in the outlet end of the gas passage. A connector is mounted around a portion of the main body and includes an inner flange. An insert is mounted between the inner flange of the connector and an outer flange of the main body.

  • Patent number: 5983928
Abstract: A gas safety valve includes a main body having a longitudinal through hole that defines a gas passage. The longitudinal hole has an inlet end communicated with a gas source, an outlet end through which gas from the gas source exits, a first mediate section adjacent to the outlet end, and a second mediate section between the first mediate section and the inlet end. A spring is mounted in the first mediate section, and a ball is movably mounted in the second mediate section. The first mediate section has a diameter greater than that of the outlet end, while the second mediate section has a diameter greater than that of the first mediate section such that the ball is capable of partially protruded into the first mediate section to block the gas passage defined by the longitudinal through hole. When no gas leakage occurs, a pressure difference between two ends of the ball is relatively small and thus forces the ball to a position not blocking the gas passage.
