  • Publication number: 20190293658
Abstract: The present invention relates to a determination method and system thereof. The method includes: providing or receiving a urine sample; distributing the urine sample into a first urine sample and a second urine sample; measuring a total protein concentration of the first urine sample; measuring a creatinine concentration and an albumin concentration of the second urine sample; and calculating a urine protein to creatinine ratio (UPCR) and a urine albumin to creatinine ratio (UACR), in which the UPCR is defined as a ratio of the total protein concentration to the creatinine concentration, and the UACR is defined as a ratio of the albumin concentration to the creatinine concentration.

  • Publication number: 20090155854
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for amplifying a functional flavivirus cDNA in a prokaryotic cell, such as E. coli. The method involves a modified flavivirus cDNA that has one or more silent mutations in one or more prokaryotic promoter regions within a flavivirus cDNA. The silent mutation decreases or abolishes the promoter activity from the prokaryotic promoter region without resulting in a change to the amino acid sequence encoded by the modified flavivirus cDNA as compared to that encoded by the flavivirus cDNA. The invention also relates to the functional flavivirus cDNA generated by the method, its complement, and its RNA transcript. The invention further relates to vectors, host cells and flavivirus related to the functional flavivirus cDNA.

  • Publication number: 20070094900
Abstract: A sole element for a shoe has a top face, a bottom face and a periphery, a transparent plastic layer is formed on the periphery, and a colored transparent plastic layer is formed on the periphery that can refract light, and multiple palettes are embedded in the plastic layer that can reflect light to create a beautiful appearance.

  • Publication number: 20070044345
Abstract: An air cushion has a body and a supporting cushion. The supporting cushion is mounted inside of the body and has multiple hexagon-shaped holes. The holes are formed through the supporting cushion and construct as a hive structure. The hive structure is able to provide an excellent supporting effect to make a person's feet comfortable.
