  • Publication number: 20070090233
Abstract: A stand for an image display device includes a supporting member that can support an image display device, a rear base is rotatably connected to the supporting member, and a front base that is connected to the rear base. The front base is rotatable with respect to the rear base in the same direction as the rear base is rotatable with respect to the supporting member such that the front base is foldable to a rear side of the image display device.

  • Publication number: 20060063012
Abstract: A method for preparing a dielectric film. According to the method, a dielectric film is prepared by depositing a dual organic siloxane precursor on a wafer by plasma enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD). Since a dielectric film prepared by the method has a low dielectric constant and shows superior physical properties, such as elastic modulus and hardness, it can be useful as an interlayer dielectric film for a semiconductor device for dual damascene copper interconnects or as a passivation layer for semiconductor and display devices.

  • Publication number: 20050259187
Abstract: A coupler structure for a CRT projection TV includes a coupler as a component of a CRT assembly positioned in the CRT projection TV, made up of a housing having an opening formed at the center thereof and a containing space formed therein with a predetermined depth and an extension extending outwardly from an upper edge of the housing with a coupling hole formed on the periphery of the extension. In the present invention, fluid interruption steps are formed with a predetermined height on the edge of the extension adjacent to the convex portion of the housing, and are formed around the coupling hole of the extension, respectively, in such a manner that electronic devices around the coupler are not damaged even if some of the cooling fluid which fills the containing space of the housing leaks out due to physical impact.

  • Patent number: 6769123
Abstract: A method and apparatus for using a single computer program code base to provide a program that is operable in either a client-server mode or a standalone mode are provided. In one embodiment, a client logic element has one or more proxy objects, each of which implement an interface that is neutral with respect to the client-server mode and the standalone mode. A server logic element has one or more service objects. Each of the service objects implements the interface. The interface implementations are not bound to any code that is specific to the client-server version or the standalone version. In the stand-alone version, the client side logic invokes the server side logic directly through the interfaces, as implemented by the service objects. In the client-server version, the client side logic invokes the server side logic through the same set of Java interfaces.

  • Patent number: 6677376
Abstract: The invention relates to non-peptidic compounds that possess bioactive properties, such as the ability to protect neuronal cells from otherwise lethal treatments or the ability to promote the growth or regeneration of neuronal cells. In part, the invention provides compounds that interact with or bind to a cyclophilin and compounds that have activity towards neuronal cells. Methods for using the compounds, such as administering them to cells or animals or using them to treat neurodegenerative conditions, are specifically included.
