    Abstract: A time synchronization method for a time synchronization device, wherein the device is connected to a plurality of time synchronization domains through a plurality of ports, and the plurality of time synchronization domains use a plurality of PTP profiles. The method comprises determining whether each of the plurality of ports is a time receiving port or a time transmitting port; obtaining information of a grandmaster clock of the plurality of time synchronization domains; performing information conversion on the information of the grandmaster clock according to a PTP profile corresponding to each time transmitting port of the plurality of ports in the plurality of PTP profiles, so as to generate a plurality of clock information corresponding to each time transmitting port; and transmitting a corresponding clock information of the plurality of clock information to a corresponding time synchronization domain from each time transmitting port, so as to perform time synchronization.

    Abstract: An apparatus including a storage medium and a controller is provided. The storage medium stores a mapping of stream Identifiers (IDs) to Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) tags. The controller is coupled to the storage medium and configured to route a packet for a Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) network according to the mapping. The routing of the packet includes replacing a VLAN tag in the packet according to the stream ID of the packet and the mapping, so as to maintain the real-time deterministic behavior of delivering data streams in the TSN network.

    Abstract: A system and method for integrating redundant ring and rapid spanning tree protocol (RSTP) are disclosed. By setting a mode message and a group ID for each of a plurality of ring nodes within a redundant ring, so that in a scenario that the redundant ring and the RSTP are running concurrently on a network environment, forwarding a bridge protocol data unit (BDPU) to a matching network topology is allowed when the mode message is transparent mode, and each of the respective network topology is converged to a steady state RSTP domain. The mechanism is help to improve the scalability of the network architecture.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to an auto-restore method for a powered device by using a computer device to build a detecting/responding packet in an Ethernet exchanger, and the Ethernet exchange can mutually transmit the packet with the powered device. If the Ethernet exchanger fails to receive a responding packet from the powered device in the predetermined time and the predetermined value, the Ethernet exchanger will terminate power supply by the Ethernet and reset the powered device, and the powered device will be restored automatically accordingly. If the powered device still cannot function normally after few times of reset, the Ethernet exchanger will shutdown the power supplied by the Ethernet and transmits an alarm signal to the computer device. Thus not only the consumption of the system and safety risk are reduced, but also promptly maintained, to increase the reliability, and save the supervision time of the operator and the cost of onsite maintenance.
