Abstract: Different computing methods and systems to at least compose at least a portion of a story are disclosed. In one embodiment, the story can be presented by an electronic device. The device can include a sensor to sense the user, and a processor. The processor can become aware of an attribute of the user. The story can depend on the attribute. In one embodiment, the attribute can be a behavior of the user. In another embodiment, the attribute can be a location of the user, or a social network of the user. The story can include a story theme and a non-story theme. The story theme can convey a concept, and the non-story theme can include scenes, scripts and/or props. The attribute can affect the story theme, the non-story theme, or both.

Abstract: One embodiment includes a network apparatus at a store for allowing digital amenities to be accessed at the store by a mobile device of a user. The network apparatus includes a network interface, a storage module to keep digital amenities and a computing module. The network interface can be designed to couple to the mobile device at the store, and to a computing device outside the store. The network interface can be designed to recognize the mobile device at the store based on a piece of software related to the store in the mobile device. The computing module can be designed to help the mobile device to access a first digital amenity from the storage module in view of the piece of software. Based on the access, a second digital amenity from the computing device can be pre-stored at the storage module.

Abstract: A universal phone number service and method of providing a universal phone number service that allows a user to receive phone calls on any phone service with a single phone number. A telephone is disclosed that is associated with more than one phone number and a universal phone number, wherein any phone call placed to the universal phone number results in the call being completed to the telephone regardless of the service associated with the more than one phone number.

Abstract: A patient interface assembly having an improved support for use in securing a patient interface device to the head of a patient overcomes the shortcomings of conventional headgear. The improved support provides a self-adjusting anchor point situated anterior to the ear of the patient that provides enhanced stability in mounting the patient interface device to the patient.

Either the text or the illustration sub file can include position information linking at least an illustration to a corresponding piece of text. Annotations could be added to the materials.

Abstract: A controller obtains a distance index associated with first and second cameras and a camera distance between the first and second cameras. The controller receives a first and second image captured by the first and second cameras, respectively. The first and second images include a first and second object image of an object, respectively. The controller calculates a first object distance between the first camera and the object using a distance index associated with the first and second cameras, the camera distance, the first object image, and the second object image. The controller calculates an object real size of the object using the first object distance, the second object image, the camera distance, and the distance index. The controller determines whether policy criteria are satisfied by the first object distance and/or the object real size. When satisfied, the controller performs an action associated with the criteria.

Abstract: A service rendering system locates a service object based on a label. A controller of the service rendering system receives an image captured by a camera coupled to the controller, processes the image to identify a label image in the image, identifies a label in the label image as corresponding to the service object, and obtains a service point location encoded in the label, where the service point location comprises a location relative to a location of the label. The controller calculates a label position of the label using the image of the label and calculates a service point position using the service point location and the label position.

Abstract: In an augmented reality (AR) system, a controller receives an image from a camera, obtains a camera distance index, and receives an instruction to display an object onto the image on a display. In response, the controller retrieves real world dimensions of the object, obtains an AR position of the object in an AR coordinate system, and calculates a distance scaling factor based on the distance index and a depth between a viewpoint and the object. The controller transforms the AR position and the real world dimensions of the object into a display position in a display coordinate system and calculates display dimensions for the object based on the distance scaling factor and the real world dimensions of the object. The controller generates a display object image by scaling the object image to the display dimensions and displays the display object image onto the display at the display position.

Abstract: In determining a distance of an object captured by a remote camera, a controller receives an image of the object from another controller coupled to a camera over a data network. The image includes a label image of a label associated with the object. The controller determines a label dimension of the label that includes a real world size of the label and determines a label image dimension of the label image that includes a size of the label image. The controller calculates a label distance using optical characteristics of the camera, the label dimension, and the label image dimension, and announces the label distance using an output component coupled to the controller. When the controller receives a command to operate the camera input by a user, the controller sends at least one instruction to operate the camera according to the command to the other controller over the data network.

Abstract: A secure medical device includes: a hardware storage; a lock coupled to the hardware storage; a data storage and a medical record residing within the hardware storage, the data storage storing a destination location including a first geophysical location; one or more processors; and a non-transitory computer readable medium comprising programming instructions. When the programming instructions are executed by the one or more processors, the one or more processors: (a) receive an access request from a requester to access the medical record; (b) obtain a current location of the secure medical device, the current location comprising a second geophysical location; (c) compare the first geophysical location to the second geophysical location; and (d) upon determining that the second geophysical location matches the first geophysical location, send a command to unlock the lock to allow access to the medical record residing within the hardware storage.

Abstract: A mobile computing device stand with a holder for a mobile computing device with a media player for conducting an audio session and back speakers positioned in the seat behind a location where a user is expected to be positioned and next to the seat. The back speakers include a first set positioned at a first side of the seat and a second set positioned at a second side of the seat opposite the first side of the seat. The first and second sets includes first and second inward back speakers facing toward the location and first and second outward back speakers facing away from the location. A system controller receives audio signals with audio of an audio session, sends the audio signals to the first and second inward back speakers, and sends the audio signals in an out of phase manner to the first and second outward back speakers.

Abstract: A network monitor system collects log entries from network appliances in the data network, each log entry including a quantity context related to an activity or a resources usage and a value of the quantity context. The network monitor system receives a spoken question inputting by a user and processes the spoken question. The network monitor determines a question context included in the spoken question, including a quantity entity context, compares the question context with given log entries, and for matching given log entry, stores the quantity context and the value of the quantity context in the given log entry as a result entry in a result entries list. The network monitor system further composes a response according to the result entries and outputs the response for playing to the user.

Another embodiment can be an eyewear presenting device, allowing for hands-free presenting.

Abstract: A service rendering vehicle renders a service on a service object. A controller of the service rendering vehicle receives an image that includes a service label corresponding to the service object, captured by a camera coupled to the controller. The controller identifies a label image of the service label in the image. The controller obtains a service point location and a service request encoded in the service label. The service point location includes a location relative to a location of the service label. The controller calculates a label position of the service label using the image of the service label and calculates a service point position using the service point location and the label position. The controller obtains a service from the service request and issues instructions to move the service rendering vehicle to the service object and to render the service at the service point position.

Abstract: A frame for use in a patient interface device for delivering a flow of breathing gas to the airway of a patient includes a first end structured to be disposed at or about the forehead of the patient and a second end opposite the first end. The second end is structured to be coupled to a adapted to sealingly engage the face of the patient about an airway of the patient. The frame further includes a spine extending between the first end and the second end. The spine is sized and configured to follow the profile of the patient along at least a portion of each of the forehead, brow and nose of the patient.
