  • Publication number: 20230255280
Abstract: A self-contained finger sleeve, having a cover, a thumb pocket and a four-finger pocket, each having an opening: one edge of the opening of the four-finger pocket is connected to an edge of the opening of the cover: an opposite edge of the opening of the four-finger pocket is connected to an edge of the opening of the thumb pocket via a U-shaped connecting strap: in a self-contained condition, the openings of the cover and the four-finger pocket face towards each other to define a storing space that stores the thumb pocket and the U-shaped connecting stap: in an unfolded conditon, the four-finger pocket is flipped inside out and misaligned with the cover; the thumb pocket is exposed from the storing space and positioned on one side of the four-finger pocket flipped inside out the thumb pocket and the four-finger pocket flipped inside out form an ergonomic finger sleeve.

  • Publication number: 20190281215
Abstract: Color, luminance, and sharpness balancing across images that are stitched together in a panorama compensates for exposure, alignment, and other differences between the images. Histograms counting occurrences of Y, U, and V values in overlapping regions between images are generated. The Y-value histograms are converted to Cumulative Density Functions (CDF's) and then to a Y color transfer curve which is averaged to generate a smoother averaged Y color transfer curve. Artifacts and loss of image detail caused by color transfer are suppressed by the averaging. For U and V color values the histogram bars are directly averaged using a moving average and then CDF's generated from the moving average of the histograms. Color transfer curves are generated for U and V from the CDF's for source and target images that overlap. All pixels in the source image are adjusted using the color transfer curves to perform color and luminance balancing.

  • Patent number: 6683590
Abstract: A tricolor LED display system (10) is provided having a plurality of multi-color LEDs (22) that operate as concurrent display and data communication elements. These dual-use tricolor LEDs are coupled to a special-purpose computer system (12) and audio signal transmitter (16) for simultaneously controlling the visible display signal from the LEDs, and for modulating audio information onto the visible light signal emitted by the LEDs. A receiver circuit (24) receives the modulated visible light signal from the LEDs and demodulates the received signal to recover the audio information, which is then presented to a user of the system through an audio interface.

  • Patent number: 6445369
Abstract: A dot matrix display system made up of light emitting diodes (LED's), n which one or more LEDs are modulated and encoded with audio information or messages is disclosed. The system has a LED dot matrix display panel with an interface circuit to a computer, an audio signal transmitter, and a receiver. An executive program runs on the computer for the visual display control of characters, decorative pattern or messages on the display panel. The receiver combined with a speaker is located at a distance from the display panel. The receiver is designed to demodulate the optically transmitted audio information and broadcast the messages with the speaker. The modulation of the LEDs includes a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) for varying the frequency of on/off periods of said light emitting diodes. The frequency is high enough such that the perceivable light appears to be constantly illuminated to the human eye.

  • Patent number: 6233230
Abstract: An apparatus and the method of its operation for decoding a received, encoded data signal having a plurality of data rates, such as a CDMA signal, by means of a deinterleaver for deinterleaving the recorded, encoded signal and outputting a frame of deinterleaved symbols, a feature calculation circuit for applying a plurality of different algorithms to the frame of deinterleaved symbols to produce a corresponding plurality of output feature values which are indicative of a degree of repetition of the deinterleaved symbols, a neural network for processing the plurality of output feature values according to a predetermined set of weights to produce a plurality of output rate determination values y1, y2, . . . yn, each of which corresponds to a different data rate, where m≦y≦M, n is an integer and m and M are predetermined minimum and maximum values, respectively, a rate detection circuit for comparing the plurality of output rate determination values y1, y2, . . .
