  • Patent number: 10713471
Abstract: A system and method for simulating facial expression of a virtual facial model are provided. The system stores a plurality of three-dimensional facial models corresponding to a plurality of preset sentiments one-to-one. The system identifies a present sentiment according to an acoustic signal and selects a selected model from the three-dimensional facial models according to the present sentiment, wherein the preset sentiment corresponding to the selected model is same as the present sentiment. The system predicts an upper half face image according to a lower half face image, combines the lower half face image and the upper half face image to form a whole face image, and generates a plurality of feature relationships by matching the facial features of the whole face image with the facial features of the selected model so that a virtual facial model can simulate an expression based on the feature relationships.

  • Patent number: 10685230
Abstract: A fusion method is provided to obtain a spatiotemporal image. The present invention is based on a conventional model—a spatial and temporal adaptive reflectance fusion model (STARFM). In the present invention, top-of-atmosphere (TOA) reflectance is kept in image fusion. Furthermore, Himawari-8, a geostationary satellite having a very high temporal resolution (10 minutes), is used. The present invention uses similar spectral bands as whose used for high-spatial-resolution image in satellites like Landsat-8 and SPOT-6. The present invention combines a high spatial-resolution image with a high temporal-resolution image obtained from Himawari-8. Thus, a TOA-reflectance-based spatial-temporal image fusion method (TOA-STFM) is proposed for generating an image having high spatiotemporal resolution. The present invention can be applied for air quality monitoring.

  • Patent number: 10667467
Abstract: A light control device and method for stimulating plant growth is disclosed. The light control device includes a light source capable of emitting light required for plant growth. The light control device further comprises a plurality of light conversion films rotatably mounted upon a film switching unit arranged around the light source, the film switching unit driven by a motor arranged therewithin. The plurality of light conversion films may further provide a plurality of light spectra required during a plurality of plant growth stages. The light control device determines plant growth stage based on the size and the height of the plants. The motor rotates the film switching unit, based on the plant growth stage of the plants, in such a manner that a light conversion film, associated with the plant growth stage of the plants, is positioned in front of the light source. Such positioning stimulates the plant growth.

  • Publication number: 20200159044
Abstract: A spectacle lens can inhibit ametropia of the eyes and ensure full visibility. The spectacle lens comprises: first refraction areas and second refraction areas. Each first refraction area has a first refraction force that may be based on a prescription for correcting the ametropia of the eyes. Each second refraction area has a refraction force different from the first refraction force and may function to focus images on the positions except the retina of the eyes, to inhibit the development of the ametropia. Near the central part of the lens, the second refraction areas form a plurality of independent island-shaped areas, and the first refraction areas form the areas beyond the areas of the second refraction areas.
