    Abstract: In 5GS, Single-Network Slice Selection Assistance Information (S-NSSAI) based backoff (BO) timers (T3584/T3585) can be applied to either the registered PLMN or all the PLMNs based on a 5GSM congestion re-attempt indicator. For a specific PDU session, the corresponding BO timer applied to the registered PLMN and the BO timer applied to all PLMN can be both running concurrently. It is proposed for a UE to stop both the BO timer applied to all the PLMNs and the BO timer applied to the registered PLMN, if running, in all the following scenarios: 1) Receiving a PDU session release command without a BO timer, 2) Receiving a PDU session release command with 5GSM cause #39, 3) Receiving a PDU session modification command, 4) Receiving a 5GSM message with a 5GSM congestion control BO timer value, and 5) Receiving a PDU session authentication command.

    Abstract: A method for handling a PDU session status IE for MBS when the PDU session status IE indicates that the PDU session is inactive is provided. A UE receives a service accept or a service reject message from the network, which comprises a PDU session status IE indicating that a PDU session is inactive. Accordingly, the UE locally releases the PDU session if the PDU session is active, and determines if the PDU session is associated with one or more MBS sessions. If so, the UE locally leaves the associated MBS sessions. The PDU session can be a single access PDU session or a multiple access PDU session.

    Abstract: A method for maintaining MBS session when UE performs intersystem change is provided. UE maintains a PDU session in 5G network. UE then joins an MBS session for receiving MBS service over the associated PDU session. Later on, UE performs intersystem change from 5G to 2/3/4G. The PDU session is then released or transferred to a PDN connection. From UE perspective, UE determines that the released or transferred PDU session is associated with the MBS session, and therefore locally leaves the MBS session. From NW perspective, NW determines that the released or transferred PDU session is associated with the MBS session, and therefore considers the UE is removed from the MBS session.

The current detector detects a consumption current of an electronic apparatus having a lithium battery and informs the microcontroller of the consumption current, so that the microcontroller learns a plurality of the consumption currents. The microcontroller determines a first amount of a plurality of slopes of the consumption currents. If a second amount in the first amount of the slopes of the consumption currents are between a first minus number and zero, and if a next slope of the slopes of the second amount of the consumption currents is greater than a present slope of the slopes of the second amount of the consumption currents, the microcontroller turns off the electronic switch to stop transmitting a charging voltage to the electronic apparatus.

Upon intersystem change from S1 mode to A/Gb mode or Iu mode, for a PDN connection which was established as a user plane resource of an MA PDU session: if the SM activates a PDP context using parameters from the default EPS bearer context of the PDN connection, then the SMF can initiate a network-requested PDU session release procedure over non-3GPP access or perform a local release of the MA PDU session; the UE can perform a local release of the MA PDU session. Otherwise, the SMF can initiate a network-requested PDU session modification procedure over 5G non-3GPP access to move traffic of the MA PDU session to 5G non-3GPP access, or initiate a network-requested PDU session release procedure over non-3GPP access.

    Abstract: A method of handling invalid PDU session during handover procedure between non-3GPP access and 3GPP access in a mobile communication network is proposed. A UE establishes a PDU session over a first RAT, and then tries to handover the PDU session from the first RAT to a second RAT. However, at the network side, the PDU session over the first RAT does not exist anymore and the network considers the PDU session to be invalid. The network thus sends a PDU session establishment reject message back to the UE, with a 5GSM status message cause value #54 indicating “PDU session does not exist”. At the UE side, the PDU session over the first RAT is still valid (e.g., not inactive). In order to resynchronize with the network, the UE performs a PDU session release procedure to release the PDU session over the first RAT.
