  • Publication number: 20120169604
Abstract: A method for preventing mis-touch of a touch keyboard includes triggering a timer when the touch keyboard is touched. A key code corresponding to the touched position is obtained and stored in a storage unit. When the touched position discontinues being touched, the timer is stopped and a touched time of the touch keyboard is obtained from the timer. The touched time is compared with a touched-time upper bound. If the touched time is less than the touched-time upper bound, the stored key code is output.

  • Patent number: 7591433
Abstract: A method for controlling the fan speed by detecting different power supplies of a mobile electronic device is proposed. When an external power source is used for mobile electronic device and detected by the embedded controller, the first fan control table is used to control the fan speed to increase the heat dissipation capability of the mobile electronic device. When battery power is used as the power source and detected by the embedded controller, a second fan control table is used to control the fan speed to extend the battery life. The first fan control table and the second fan control table become the relation control table between the temperature of the processor and the fan speed or the relation fan control table between the temperature of the processor and the input voltage of the fan for controlling the fan speed according to the temperature of the processor.

  • Publication number: 20080074294
Abstract: A system for controlling a keyboard is provided. The present invention adopts a structure integrating a scanning unit into a keyboard device. After scanning the keyboard, a key matrix position of a pressed key is sent to a control device. By looking up a programmable matrix table stored in the control device, a corresponding scan code is found out. Therefore, a circuit disposed between the keyboard device and the control device is simplified and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.

  • Patent number: 7123267
Abstract: An additional data transmission channel is provided between the north bridge chip and the system memory when the graphic accelerator is integrated into the north bridge chip. The additional data transmission channel can be similar to the existent data transmission channel between the north bridge chip and the system memory for providing extensive data transmission bandwidth. Alternatively, the additional data transmission channel can be specific to the communication between the graphic accelerator in the north bridge chip and the frame buffer in the system memory.
