  • Patent number: 11916415
Abstract: A battery charging apparatus includes a battery compartment having a receptacle that is configured to receive a battery pack. The battery charging apparatus includes a first heat exchange module and/or a second heat exchange module. The first heat exchange module includes a plenum surrounding the receptacle, where the plenum includes a chamber to receive a fluid. The plenum also includes a plurality of flow guides disposed in the chamber to define a variable flow passage for the fluid. The second heat exchange module includes a battery connector and a heat sink thermally coupled to the battery connector. The heat sink is arranged to dissipate thermal energy from the battery pack.

  • Publication number: 20190190342
Abstract: A motor frame with bumps includes a frame body, plural bumps and plural heat-dissipation fins. The frame body has an internal surface and an external surface. Each of the bumps protrudes radially inward from the inner surface, and plural internal flow passages are formed by every two neighboring bumps. Each of the heat-dissipation fins protrudes radially outward from the external surface, and plural external flow passages are formed by every two neighboring heat-dissipation fins. Each of the bumps is radially outwards respective to at least two of the heat-dissipation fins.

  • Patent number: 10236755
Abstract: A method includes steps of: preparing first and second plates, each first plate having surrounding apertures, each aperture including a first accommodation portion and an outer necking portion, each second plate having surrounding accommodation portions; stacking the first plates by aligning necking portions to form band gaps extending linearly and parallel to each other; stacking two second plates to two opposing terminal portions of the stacked first plates; penetrating metal bars into the aligned first and second accommodation portions by exposing both ends of each metal bar; beetling the necking portions at each band gap so as to locate firmly the corresponding metal bar; positioning a first mold and a second mold to clamp the stacked plate structure; injecting metal slurries into the first and second molds and then solidifying the metal slurries to form two end rings; and, removing the first and second molds to complete a rotor structure.

  • Patent number: 8531809
Abstract: A surge protector includes a first surge suppression assembly comprising a first conductive layer comprising an arm, an extension distal to the arm and having toothed edges, and a substantially C-shaped member projecting out of the extension and having toothed edges, and a substantially circular member with toothed edges formed at an open end of the extension; a second conductive layer comprising an arm including a terminal, an extension being distal the arm, a first substantially C-shaped member having toothed edges, and a second substantially C-shaped member at an open end of the extension wherein the first substantially C-shaped member, the substantially C-shaped member, the second substantially C-shaped member, and the substantially circular member are arranged concentrically; and an overvoltage protection assembly interconnecting the arm and the terminal. The overvoltage protection assembly is electrically connected to the first surge suppression assembly.
