    Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure are directed towards a stacked complementary metal-oxide semiconductor (CMOS) image sensor in which a pixel sensor spans multiple integrated circuit (IC) chips and is devoid of a shallow trench isolation (STI) structure at a photodetector of the pixel sensor. The photodetector and a first transistor form a first portion of the pixel sensor at a first IC chip. A plurality of second transistors forms a second portion of the pixel sensor at a second IC chip. By omitting the STI structure at the photodetector, a doped well surrounding and demarcating the pixel sensor may have a lesser width than it would otherwise have. Hence, the doped well may consume less area of the photodetector. This, in turn, allows enhanced scaling down of the pixel sensor.

    Abstract: An illumination system and a projection device comprising the same are provided. The projection device comprises an imaging system and the illumination system. The illumination system comprises a first light source, a color wheel and a reflecting mirror. The first light source provides a first wave band light along a first axial direction. The color wheel rotates around a second axial direction. The first axial direction is perpendicular to the second axial direction. A first wave band transforming area is formed around an edge of the color wheel, and the reflecting mirror is disposed adjacent to the edge of the color wheel. When being projected to the first wave band transforming area, the first wave band light is transformed into a second wave band light by the first wave band transforming area and then the second wave band light is reflected by the reflecting mirror.

The at least one actuator is connected to the color wheel to move the color wheel to a selected position so that the first wave band light is projected onto one of the wave band transforming areas to excite a plurality of selected wave band lights.

    Abstract: A light emitting module and a display device comprising the light emitting module are provided. The light emitting module comprises an excitation light source, a phosphor wheel and a driving circuit. The excitation light source is configured to generate an excitation light. The phosphor wheel has a plurality of color segments and rotates at a period so that each of the color segments sequentially receives the excitation light to generate a color light. The driving circuit is electrically connected to the excitation light source and the phosphor wheel. The driving circuit is configured to provide a driving current to the excitation light source, and changes the driving current in accordance with each of the color segments receiving the excitation light so as to adjust an energy conversion efficiency of each of the color segments for generating the color light.

The file wheel assembly made by pressing together a file wheel with relatively smaller shaft diameter and two side wheels having external teeth at the circumference edge and with shaft diameter greater that that of the file wheel has its salient shaft pivotally connected to the slot. The metal cap being slipped on the external portion of the wheel racket has an extension portion provided at a location adjacent to the file wheel assembly.
