Abstract: Asymmetric Physical Exercise method and hardware system wherein two trainee's body member units apply a load referred as isometric load against each other directly or indirectly while an additional load referred as bias load from an external source is applied to one of the body member units, each of said body member units includes at least one trainee's body member, and the said bias load direction is independent from the directions of body member units instantaneous motion velocities and has a component parallel to the isometric load.

Abstract: In designing a precision monolithic structure having all discrete components with different Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) permanently bonded together, to avoid internal stress caused by changing of temperature: The Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) Adaptor must be bonded between two components having different Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE); the Bonding Interfaces must be parallel; the Coefficient of Thermal Expansion (CTE) Adaptor is made of material having varied CTE, the variation must be gradual and in only one direction, which is perpendicular to the said Bonding Interfaces; at each Bonding Interface, the CTE of the CTE Adaptor must match the CTE of bonding component in certain degree.

Abstract: Document transaction processes between systems comprising the following steps: The client requests a form; the host supplies the form rendered into HTML and PDF from XML template; the client fills in the form and submits the completed form to the host; the host receives and processes the form, extracts key information and stores the processed form; the host composes and sends a responding form for confirmation and the processed information to the client; the client receives and processes and stores the responding form; the client makes change or mark/correct any discrepancy/dispute on the responding form and returns it back to the host; the host receives and processes the returned responding form containing change and discrepancy/dispute marked by the client; the host revises the responding form and returns it to the client; the client receives, processes, and stores the responding form.

The system comprises parsing engines that subdivide the document presentation into multiple presentation zones, parse data of each presentation zone with different parsing program or programs to provide output data in format or formats preferable for said zone, and reconstruct the document by recomposing the output presentation of all presentation zones.

Abstract: A vibration isolator apparatus for isolating a load from a floor and minimizing disturbances caused by rapid motions of the load components. The vibration isolator comprises a first isolator assembly that employs a parallelogram mechanism to isolate the load in a first direction while maintaining said load leveled and a second isolator assembly that provides passive isolation for the load in a second direction or directions. The second isolator assembly may include a pendulum assembly that is coupled to a dashpot. A homing means to bring and secure the load to an equilibrium home position during rapid movement of the load components and during interacting process between the load and other devices mounted on different platforms.

A picker mechanism having multiple direction capability is positioned for accessing and transporting the storage media cartridges between at least three adjacent storage cell magazines. The picker mechanism includes a pair of gripper pickers configured for releasably gripping and supporting the storage media cartridges during transport between the storage cells. The picker mechanism is rotatable so that one of the grippers can be utilized to access two of the adjacent storage cell magazines while the second gripper accesses the third storage cell magazine. For increased efficiency, the picker mechanism can be positioned between opposing columns of storage cell magazines together with a single storage cell column at one end.

Abstract: A recordable media library is provided wherein the library includes a plurality of carousels, one of the carousels being a primary carousel and the other carousels being sub-carousels. The sub-carousels have recordable media receptacles, such as that used for cartridges of optical or magnetic data. A support such as a framework, is provided. The primary carousel is mounted on the support for rotation about a central axis. The sub-carousels are rotatably mounted on the primary carousel, each sub-carousel having an axis of rotation which is coextensive with the central axis of the primary carousel. With this arrangement any one or a combination of the sub-carousels can be rotated with respect to the primary carousel into a location where a recordable media receptacle can be accessed by one or more cartridge pickers. The cartridge pickers may be mounted on the support for movement along respective axes which are parallel to the central axis of the carousels.
