Abstract: A pneumatic lifting device (1) comprises a pneumatic cylinder (2), and a pneumatic pump (3) for providing pressurized air to the pneumatic cylinder (2). There is a support (4) for supporting an object to be lifted, the support (4) can move between a raised position and a lowered position by the pneumatic cylinder (2). There is also a nozzle (5) for delivering pressurized air from the pneumatic pump (3). These features result in a pneumatic lifting device portable and versatile, as well as being well-suited for convenient storage in these vehicles.

Abstract: A sit assist device (1) comprising a base (2) adapted to be supported by a seating surface, and a sitting platform (3) hingedly connected to the base (2) and movable between a raised position and a lowered position to assist a user to sit down onto and to stand up from the sitting platform (3). A primary biasing means (4) provides a primary resilient bias to resiliently bias the sitting platform (3) from the lowered position to the raised position over an operating range, thereby moving the sitting platform (3) from the lowered position to the raised position over the operating range as the user stands up from the sitting platform (3) and slowing the movement of the sitting platform (3) from the raised position to the lowered position over the operating range as the user sits down onto the sitting platform (3). A secondary biasing means (5) provides a secondary resilient bias to supplement the primary resilient bias over a portion of the operating range adjacent the lowered position.

Abstract: A line organizer (1) comprising: a base (2); a retainer (3) attachable to the base (2) for retaining a line between the base (2) and the retainer (3); a first connector (4) on the base (2); and a second connector (5) on the base (2). The line tensioner also has a bearing portion, with the line being slidably engagable with the bearing portion for tensioning the line. The line tensioner has a second attachment portion for releasably fixing to the line. The second attachment portion has a slot with two opposing surfaces extending in a second direction from a throat towards a mouth. The line is receivable via the mouth into releasable gripping engagement with the two opposing surfaces. The second direction is opposite to the first direction.

Abstract: A combination battery, light bulb, fuse tester having novel features. In particular, the tester includes a novel probe apparatus including an actuator, a pair of opposed probe arms, each of the probe arms having an electrical contact on an end thereof, the probe arms being adapted such that operation of the actuator biases the ends of the probe arms away from each other to an open position allowing the electrical poles of a battery, light bulb, or fuse to be tested to be contacted by the contacts on the probe arms. Additional features include magnetic probe contacts to facilitate the testing of a battery, light bulb, or fuse.
