    Abstract: An electronic device is provided that includes a display. The electronic device also includes a fingerprint sensor disposed under one or more pixels. The fingerprint sensor is adapted to acquire image information corresponding to a fingerprint of an external object that is in proximity to or in contact with the display based on at least a light radiated from at least one pixel and reflected by the external object. The electronic device also includes a rear panel disposed under the display. The rear panel includes an aperture corresponding to a disposition of the fingerprint sensor. The electronic device further includes a bracket disposed under the rear panel to support the display, and including a sensor seating area in which the fingerprint sensor is disposed. The fingerprint sensor is affixed to the sensor seating area. An air gap is formed between the display and the fingerprint sensor.
