  • Patent number: 10454363
Abstract: A synchronous rectifier alternator and a power allocation method thereof are provided. The synchronous rectifier alternator includes an alternator, a synchronous rectifier circuit and a controller. The alternator converts mechanical energy to alternating current (AC) electrical energy. The synchronous rectifier circuit converts the AC electrical energy to direct current (DC) electrical energy and provides the DC electrical energy to a load. The controller detects a voltage level of the DC electrical energy. When the controller detects that the voltage level is higher than or equal to a first threshold voltage value, the controller controls ONs and OFFs of first transistors and second transistors of the synchronous rectifier circuit, such that at least one of regulator diodes of the synchronous rectifier circuit, a stator of the alternator and the load consume power of the alternator.

  • Patent number: 10371724
Abstract: A rectifier package module for a vehicle and a connection status detection method for a temperature sensor thereof are provided. The rectifier package module includes at least one temperature sensor and a control chip. The control chip has an end coupled to the temperature sensor through a bonding wire. The control chip generates a current and provides a reference voltage according to a mode selection signal. The current is provided to the temperature sensor through the bonding wire. The control chip compares a voltage on the end with the reference voltage to generate a comparison result. In a test mode, a comparison circuit generates the comparison result to indicate a connection status between the end and the temperature sensor.

  • Patent number: 9543886
Abstract: A short circuit detection circuit and a short circuit detection method for a multi-phase rectifier are provided, which are used for detecting conditions of a spectrum of a FWR signal outputted from the multi-phase rectifier in the frequency domain. Next, determining whether the detected signal indicating the amplitude of the frequency of the AC signal is greater than or equal to the reference signal, so as to determine whether the multi-phase rectifier has a short circuit condition. Therefore, the short circuit detection circuit and the short circuit detection method do not have any requirements for configuring a short circuit detection element on each current path of the multi-phase rectifier, so that the power loss and the cost can be reduced effectively.

  • Publication number: 20160043538
Abstract: An electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit, an ESD protection method, and a voltage regulator chip having the same are provided. The ESD protection circuit includes a turn-on voltage controller, an ESD protection switch and a control signal transporting path. The turn-on voltage controller is coupled to a pad, and generates a detection signal according to a voltage on the pad. The ESD protection switch is turned on according to a control signal for discharging an ESD current on the pad. The control signal transporting path is turned on according to the detection signal and generates the control signal by delaying the voltage on the pad according to a delay value.

  • Patent number: 6332077
Abstract: A roaming algorithm for associating a mobile station (STA) with an access point in a wireless LAN system used in an automatic guidance vehicle (AGV) application. Fast roaming is achieved by eliminating a STA's scanning time during the search of the next AP to associate with. To eliminate the scanning time, each AP is pre-configured with its adjacent APs in advance. Whenever an AP is associated with, a mobile station (STA) gets the information of neighboring APs from the currently associated AP. Then, the STA continuously monitors the signal strength of APs in its neighborhood. During roaming, the STA chooses the best AP to associate with without having to scan all the APs.
