  • Publication number: 20240403873
Abstract: A settlement bot receives a hashlock value from a source entity delegate bot. The hashlock value is based on a secret value. The settlement bot also receives transaction information. The settlement bot generates a set of settlement instructions based on the transaction information. The set of settlement instructions includes one or more smart contracts governing one or more transactions on a distributed ledger. The settlement bot locks an asset in a first HTLC using the hashlock value. The first HTLC is associated with the set of settlement instructions. The settlement bot settles the set of settlement instructions upon receiving the secret value. Settling the set of settlement instructions includes unlocking the first HTLC and executing the set of settlement instructions, which includes transferring the asset to a destination account.

  • Publication number: 20240233017
Abstract: A digital assets platform (DAP) uses distributed ledger technology and smart contract programming. The DAP can include distributed and decentralized communication network and application systems that collectively provide end-to-end tokenization, management, and lifecycle processing of digital assets. The assets may be digitally native securities (e.g., bonds, equities, funds, etc.) and non-securities (e.g., digital cash, loans, derivatives), tokenization of real-world assets (securities and non-securities), or any other forms of tokenized assets.

  • Publication number: 20240185234
Abstract: In a first tier of a hierarchy, a record is maintained of assets issued or otherwise made available by an issuer. The available assets may be distributed between accounts within the first tier. Ownership of the assets is recorded on a distributed ledger. One or more of the first-tier accounts may be held by first tier investors (such as institutional investors) that buy and hold some of the available assets as a direct/primary investment. One or more other first-tier accounts may be client omnibus accounts operated by financial institutions that hold a portion of the available assets and make those assets available to be invested in by second-tier accounts. Interests in the assets made available for investment by second-tier accounts are recorded on the distributed ledger. In some instances, second-tier accounts can offer investment in the interests the second-tier accounts hold to third-tier accounts, and third-tier accounts can offer interests to fourth tier accounts, etc.
