Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a method to reduce virulence of Tsukamurella comprising decreasing the expression of the mycolyltransferase C (‘tmytC”) gene. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition and method of prevention and treatment of infection by inhibition of tmytC.
