    Abstract: The present invention concerns a steerable wind-powered vehicle, which comprises a base supported on at least two wheels, skis, skates or hydrofoils, at least one of the wheels, skis, skates or hydrofoils being arranged to be steerable, a mast carrying a sail and being pivotally and rotatably mounted with respect to the base, and a mechanism responsive to pivotal movement of the mast for controlling directional movement of the or each of the steerable wheels, skis, skates or hydrofoils.
