Abstract: The present invention relates to a lighted display device for attachment to a motor vehicle. A first light emitting diode array and a second light emitting diode array are mounted on the display side of the frame. A user may select a first message to be displayed on the first light emitting diode array and a second message to be displayed on the second light emitting diode array. The device may be attached directly to the license plate of a vehicle or directly to the vehicle. In one embodiment, the device is attached to a vehicle hitchsocket.
