  • Publication number: 20090308864
Abstract: A chemical storage tank includes at least a main body and two sealing members combined together with each other. The main body is formed as a cylinder or other shapes, integrally made of acid-proof and alkali-proof plastic materials, with a storage space formed inside it for storing any chemical material or product, and with a circumferential wall having its upper and its lower end respectively formed with a connecting opening. The sealing members are integrally made of the same plastic material of the main body, respectively combined together with the upper and the lower connecting opening of the main body by plastic welding. Thus, the welding portions between the main body and the sealing members are located around the circumferential wall, able to prevent pressure in the tank from damaging the chemical storage tank to insure safety.

  • Publication number: 20090309056
Abstract: A butterfly valve includes a main body and a valve plate. The main body is provided with a valve port and a handle fixed with a shaft for connecting a handle with the valve plate that is received in the valve port of the main body. Before the valve plate is shaped, a sealing ring is deposited in the shaping cavity of a valve plate shaping mold, and after the valve plate is shaped, the sealing ring will be secured at the periphery of the valve face for achieving sealing effect and preventing liquid from leaking when the valve plate is closed. Further, the valve face has one side bored with a shaft hole at a location eccentric to the center of the valve face. Thus, when the handle is operated, the valve plate can be turned to open or close smoothly.

  • Publication number: 20090032761
Abstract: This invention has an objective of offering a spherical valve, which has a valve chamber with a space enough for receiving a valve therein, and letting the valve move smoothly therein. A connecting member respectively formed at two sides of the valve chamber is for connecting with exterior tubes, having an annular projecting portion with a comparatively large thickness so that shrinking occurring during inject-forming process of the body may be offset by the annular projecting portions so that the valve chamber may not be deformed so that the valve may move smoothly in the valve chamber.

  • Patent number: 7108243
Abstract: A ball valve includes a housing, a valve member, and a grip. The housing has a valve chamber in the center portion for containing a valve portion of the valve member consisting of the valve portion and a shaft portion extending up from the valve portion and out of the housing to combine with the grip able to rotate the valve member to open or close a passageway formed by the cavity of the valve portion, an inlet portion and an outlet portion at two sides of the housing. An anti-leak gasket is fixed around the lower end of the shaft for preventing liquid in the valve assembly from leaking out. Further, a soft auxiliary gasket is fixed around the shaft portion under the anti-leak gasket for lessening friction between the shaft portion and the shaft hole of the housing to permit the ball valve manually handled to open or close smoothly.
