Abstract: A navigation system for a vehicle and a navigation method for the same are disclosed. The navigation system collects transportation information and fuel efficiency information from several source vehicles located in a specific region, generates an optimum route for the corresponding region, and informs a target vehicle having requested a navigation service of the optimum route, resulting in the implementation of more effective navigation service.

Abstract: Provided is an apparatus for controlling a vehicle interior temperature, which includes a storage means configured to store a temperature control table; a wireless transceiver means configured to receive a message from an external device and transmit a corresponding response message; a message analysis means configured to analyze the message received by the wireless transceiver means; a control means configured to identify a current vehicle interior temperature and control the vehicle interior temperature based on the temperature control table until the vehicle interior temperature reaches a target temperature by communicating with a vehicle controller through an association means, when the message analyzed by the message analysis means is a temperature control message; and the association means configured to associate the control means with the vehicle controller.

Abstract: A system and method for providing vehicle diagnostic service, in which a central server cumulatively stores diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) of vehicles, analyzes a problem history based on the DTCs, determines whether a vehicle has a problem or not using the analyzed result, notifies a driver of problem information, and remotely controls a diagnostic period and a diagnostic time for the problemed diagnostic item to perform the intensive diagnostics so that it is possible to allow the driver to promptly manage the problem.

Abstract: A route guidance system, a car-audio apparatus thereof, and a method for providing route guidance using the same are provided. The route guidance system using a car-audio apparatus which includes an input module for receiving destination information to be visited by a driver from the driver via, e.g. a voice command, a location tracking module which determines a present location information of a vehicle, and a control module which transfers voice information for the present location information of the vehicle and the destination information to the server. Route guidance information, received from the server, is searched via an electronic map on the server. The control module transfers the route guidance information to the car-audio apparatus and allows the car-audio apparatus to display the route information through an interface of a display module of the car-audio apparatus.

Abstract: The present invention provides a traffic information providing system and terminal and a method of providing traffic information. More specifically, the traffic information providing system includes a first module, within a vehicle, which is configured to receive a range associated with a route calculated by a terminal from a web server, wherein a plurality of ranges are previously set based on a traveling route, a specific region and a present position. Additionally the present invention also includes a second module that is configured to receive a traffic information request for any one of a plurality of ranges from the terminal via a command. A third module is configured to collect traffic information within the provided range corresponding to the command. Upon doing so the second module transmits the traffic information collected by the third module to the traffic information providing terminal to be conveyed to the driver.

Abstract: A technique for locating a fuel supply facility in response to a fuel supply alarm is provided. More specifically, the technique sends a request for a search of fuel supply facilities in the vicinity of the vehicle to a vehicle information center in response to a fuel supply alarm lamp signal being generated in the vehicle. Upon receiving the request, the vehicle information center searches peripheral fuel supply facilities according to engine information and road information of the vehicle and extracts one or more fuel supply facilities that conform to a previously input condition, which are then transmitted to the vehicle and conveyed via a terminal to the user Thus, the above system cooperates with a vehicle information center to automatically search peripheral fuel supply facilities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of such systems.
