Abstract: A navigation system for a vehicle and a navigation method for the same are disclosed. The navigation system collects transportation information and fuel efficiency information from several source vehicles located in a specific region, generates an optimum route for the corresponding region, and informs a target vehicle having requested a navigation service of the optimum route, resulting in the implementation of more effective navigation service.

Abstract: A technique for locating a fuel supply facility in response to a fuel supply alarm is provided. More specifically, the technique sends a request for a search of fuel supply facilities in the vicinity of the vehicle to a vehicle information center in response to a fuel supply alarm lamp signal being generated in the vehicle. Upon receiving the request, the vehicle information center searches peripheral fuel supply facilities according to engine information and road information of the vehicle and extracts one or more fuel supply facilities that conform to a previously input condition, which are then transmitted to the vehicle and conveyed via a terminal to the user Thus, the above system cooperates with a vehicle information center to automatically search peripheral fuel supply facilities to increase efficiency and effectiveness of such systems.

Abstract: The present invention provides a traffic information providing system and terminal and a method of providing traffic information. More specifically, the traffic information providing system includes a first module, within a vehicle, which is configured to receive a range associated with a route calculated by a terminal from a web server, wherein a plurality of ranges are previously set based on a traveling route, a specific region and a present position. Additionally the present invention also includes a second module that is configured to receive a traffic information request for any one of a plurality of ranges from the terminal via a command. A third module is configured to collect traffic information within the provided range corresponding to the command. Upon doing so the second module transmits the traffic information collected by the third module to the traffic information providing terminal to be conveyed to the driver.
