  • Patent number: 7401280
Abstract: In one embodiment, a programmable logic device is provided that includes a memory having memory cells, each memory cell operable to store either a configuration bit or a RAM bit; a masking circuit operable to mask a RAM bit by providing a masking value for the masked RAM bit; an error detection circuit operable to process the configuration bits during operation of the programmable logic device using an error detection algorithm, the error detection circuit calculating a signature that includes configuration bits and masking values; and a comparator operable to compare the signature calculated by the error detection circuit with a correct signature.

    Assignee: Lattice Semiconductor Corporation
Inventors: Satwant Singh, Chi Nguyen, Ann Wu, Ting Yew
  • Patent number: 7314514
Abstract: The invention relates to energy storage devices such as capacitors and supercapacitors and non-aqueous solvent systems suitable for use as an electrolyte solvent therein. Devices incorporating the solvent system are suitable for use in, for example, wireless devices or automotive applications at high temperatures with minimal, if any mass loss. The solvent system has at least one low boiling component (preferably a nitrile, eg acetonitrile) at least one high boiling component compatible with said low boiling component (preferably lactones, eg ?-butyrolactone and/or organic carbonates eg ethylene carbonate or propylene carbonate); and wherein the components are selected in an amount such that said non-aqueous solvent system does not boil at the boiling point of the low viscosity solvent alone but has a boiling point greater than said low viscosity solvent alone.

Date of Patent: January 1, 2008
    Assignee: Cap-XX Limited

  • Patent number: 7069957
Abstract: The present invention concerns a device for heat-insulating at least one sub-marine pipe. The sub-marine pipe includes a heat insulation covering including a material subject to migration, the covering surrounding the pipe and being covered by a sealed protective envelope having a tubular shape and a longitudinal axis of symmetry. The envelope being constituted by a flexible or semi-rigid material able to remain in contact with the external surface of the insulation covering when the latter warps. The device includes at least two sealed transversal partitions, each being constituted by a closed rigid piece traversed by and integral with the pipe and with the envelope.
