    Abstract: Stainless steel having superior antibacterial and corrosion resistance properties is provided by adding and dispersing optimal amounts of titanium and copper in the stainless steel. Corrosion resistance analysis and antibacterial analysis were performed to prove the corrosion resistance and antibacterial properties thereof. According to the present invention, methods to make the stainless steel having superior antibacterial and corrosion resistance properties are also provided. The methods use a base stainless steel such as austenitic, ferritic or martensitic stainless steel. The steel can be hot rolled, cold rolled, annealed, pickled, and heat treated.
