  • Patent number: 9511531
Abstract: A method of forming a thermoplastic article, comprises steps of: a) positioning at least one preheated first component being hollow and having at least one open end in two co-operating first mold halves; b) extruding a blow-moldable thermoplastic material into the first component and closing the mold halves; and c) blowing the blow-moldable thermoplastic material inside the mold halves to form an article on which the first component is fixedly engaged. The method is simple in implementation, low in cost and easy in modification, and by which a thermoplastic article of varied colors, patterns, materials, and/or functional components being fixedly mounted on its outer surface could be realized.

  • Patent number: 8807386
Abstract: An accessory for a drinking vessel is disclosed as including a body (102) with a passageway allowing air or liquid to pass through, the body including a first wall (104a) and a second wall (104b) which are opposite to each other, and a valve (110) in the passageway, the valve (110) including a first valve member (110a) and a second valve member (110b), in which both the first and second valve members (110a, 110b) are integrally formed with the first and second walls, and each of the first and second valve members (110a, 110b) includes respectively a first surface (111a, 111c) and a second surface (111b, 111d) which are opposite to each other, in which the first surfaces of the first and second valve members face generally a first direction, and the second surfaces of the first and second valve members face generally a second direction which is opposite to the first direction, and the first valve member is deformable between a first configuration in which at least part of the second surface of the first valve

  • Publication number: 20130060281
Abstract: A pacifier comprises a first layer (100) having a first substrate (110) with a first surface (112) on one side and a second surface (114) on the opposite side, and having a nipple (120) extending vertically from the first surface (112) of the substrate (110); and a second layer (200) molded onto the second surface (114) of the first substrate (110), said second layer (200) forming a body portion (400) which covers less than all the second surface (114) of the first layer (100). The first substrate (110) further has two raised segments (116) in symmetry on an outer periphery thereof to form a shield portion (130), and the two raised segments (116) are dimensioned and shaped such that the shield portion (130) is rigid enough to permit no sucking of the pacifier into a baby's mouth when the two raised segments (116) are forced to abut against the body portion (400).
