    Abstract: A wavelength conversion module including a substrate, a reflective layer and a wavelength conversion layer is provided. The reflective layer is located on the substrate, wherein the reflective layer has two first reflective regions and a second reflective region. The second reflective region is located between the two first reflective regions in a radial direction, and the distance from the top of the reflective layer in the second reflective region to the substrate is smaller than the distance from the top of the reflective layer in each of the first reflective regions to the substrate. The wavelength conversion layer is located on the substrate, wherein the reflective layer is located between the substrate and the wavelength conversion layer. In addition, an illumination system, a projection apparatus, and a method of forming a wavelength conversion module are also proposed.

The first inorganic interstitial layer is disposed between the wavelength conversion layer and the substrate. A projection device having the wavelength conversion element is further provided, and a manufacturing method of the wavelength conversion element is also provided. The wavelength conversion element manufactured by using the manufacturing method of the invention may improve conversion efficiency and thermal conductivity. The projection device of the invention may reduce the problem that the image brightness decreases.

A first part of the excited beam is incident to the annular wavelength conversion region and converted into a first color light, and a second part of the excited beam is incident to the wavelength conversion module to form a second color light. A proportional value range of the second part of the excited beam and the excited beam ranges between 5% and 30%. Moreover, a projection apparatus is also provided. The illumination system of the invention has a simple structure and a concise optical path layout.

The illumination system includes at least one laser light source providing at least one laser beam and a polarizing rotation module including a first axle, a first driving element, and a polarizing element. The first axle has a first revolution frequency. The polarizing element is disposed on a transmission path of the laser beam. The first driving element causes the polarizing element to rotate in a temporally sequenced manner. When the polarizing element is rotated, the laser beam is transmitted to the polarizing element at a specific frequency in a plurality of first time periods. The laser beam passing through the polarizing element has different polarizing states at different times. The specific frequency and the first revolution frequency of the first axle are not exactly divisible by each other. The invention can generate an image with uniform polarizing direction.
