The heterogeneous storing server determines the device type group to which a file belongs according to attributes of the file. The heterogeneous storing server stores the file into appropriate storing devices dynamically and adjusts the number of backups of the file in the storing devices dynamically according to a definition of the device type group.

    Abstract: A master device, a slave device and computing methods thereof for a cluster computing system are provided. The master device is configured to receive device information of the slave device, select a resource feature model for the slave device according to the device information and a job, estimate a container configuration parameter of the slave device according to the resource feature model, transmit the container configuration parameter to the slave device, and assign the job to the slave device. The slave device is configured to transmit the device information to the master device, receive the job assigned by the master device with the container configuration parameter from the master device, generate at least one container to compute the job according to the container configuration parameter, and generate the resource feature model according to job information corresponding to the job and a metric file.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a continuous identity authentication method. This method transforms the behavior records of different time intervals of the system user into a text format, and uses a resampling technique to generate a large number of articles of different lengths in order to have behavior records of the system user in different lengths of time, then using a document classification technique to build a matrix. In the end, building behavioral models of different time periods of the system's user using Minimum Enclosing Ball technology. The behavioral models can then learn the behavior of the legitimate system user and continuously check whether the system is currently operated by the legitimate system user or not.

    Abstract: The direction sensing apparatus according to the present invention comprises a sensing circuit, a computing module, and a judging unit. The sensing circuit detects the gravity direction of an object and produces at least a detecting signal. The computing module receives the detecting signal, and produces at least a computing value according to at least a threshold value and the detecting signal. The judging unit receives the computing value, and gives a state of gravity direction of the object according to the computing value. Thereby, the present invention shrinks the area of circuits and hence saving cost by means of the simple circuit structure of the computing module.

    Abstract: The basic philosophy of Intelligent Network (IN) is the separation of service control from the telephone switches which now perform only connection control and a minimum amount of work to facilitate service control. In IN terms, Service Control Point (SCP) determined how a particular call from a user is routed and how to manipulated it once a call is set up and some interesting events happen. The telephone switch with the added IN capabilities o collaborate with the SCP in IN services is called Service Switching Point (SSP). All the services will be managed by Service Management System (SMS). For the management of IN, the Telecommunication Management Network (TMN) is adopted, all the management information are defined as managed objects and transmitted within the management network. An Q Adaptor is a software process and responsible for the maintenance of the MIB tree and the management information conversion between SMS and SCP.
