  • Patent number: 7033146
Abstract: A magnetic drive sealless pump. The pump includes a casing having a fluid suction opening and fluid discharge opening. A shell is combined to the rear part of the casing, and the exterior of the shell is combined with a bracket having a motor for impelling and rotating a drive magnet. At the center of the shell is provided with a shaft enveloped with a bearing having a spiral fluid passage at the interior thereof. A capsule is provided between the bearing and the shell and at the interior of the capsule is provided with a driven magnet situated between the bearing and the drive magnet. The capsule is also extended into the casing and at the front of the capsule is provided with impeller. The impeller, capsule and bearing are integrated into one body for forming a rotating member having a thrust ring at the front and rear parts thereof, respectively, for preventing axial movements of the rotating member.

  • Patent number: 6854957
Abstract: A seal of a vertical pump with a front casing disposed on a main casing which has a motor disposed therein. A volute chamber is disposed inside the front casing to receive a centrifugal impeller. A suction inlet is disposed axially on the front casing opposite the motor. A water outlet is disposed thereon opposite the lateral side of the impeller to engage with a discharge pipe. The suction inlet and outlet are in communication with a volute chamber. The pump has a non-contact seal disposed on the impeller. The seal can jam when a liquid crystallizes. Therefore, if no heat is generated due to the friction of the seal, the pump operates better. Furthermore, it prevents a back impeller vane from stirring the air and ejecting the liquid with a lot of air bubbles when the pump operates. Therefore, it eliminates the air bubbles from causing problems during the manufacturing process of a printed circuit board.

  • Publication number: 20040071551
Abstract: A seal of a vertical pump mainly has a front casing disposed fixedly and forwardly on a main casing which has a motor disposed therein; a volute chamber is disposed inside the front casing for placing a centrifugal impeller; an suction inlet is disposed axially and forwardly on the front casing opposite to the motor; a water outlet is disposed upwardly thereon and opposite the lateral side of the impeller to engage with an discharge pipe; the suction inlet and outlet are communicated with a volute chamber. The present invention is characterized that a non-contact seal is disposed on the front rim of a cantilever shaft; the seal does jam when a liquid crystallizes. Therefore, no heat generates due to the friction of the seal thereby preventing the stopping and sealing of the pump. Furthermore, it also prevents a back impeller vane from stirring the air and spitting out the liquid with a lot of air bubbles when the pump operates.

  • Patent number: 6475378
Abstract: A cartridge filter includes a cartridge filter including an upper annular groove in an outer periphery thereof a top cover mounted to seal an open upper end of the cartridge filter, and a C-shape upper bracket mounted in the upper annular groove of the cartridge filter. A screw and a nut are provided for securing ends of the upper bracket together. The upper bracket includes a plurality of annular spaced pivot seats. A plurality of swivel studs are provided and each includes a first end pivotally attached to each pivot seat. Each swivel stud further includes a threaded second end and a handwheel threadedly engaged on the threaded second end for securing the top cover in place. The upper bracket further includes a flange extended radially outward for preventing deformation in the ends of the C-shape upper bracket and the pivot seats.

  • Patent number: 6322335
Abstract: A pump includes a front casing and a rear casing for defining a space therebetween. An end of the shaft extends into the space with an impeller is supported by a bushing which makes the impeller is rotatable in the space. A wearing ring is attached to a front side of the impeller. The front casing defines a bore in which a buffer is received so as to be axially movable with respect thereto. A thrust ring is attached to the buffer for contactingly engaging the wearing ring whereby when the impeller rotates, the axial movement of the buffer maintains a fluid film between the thrust ring and the wearing ring. An O-ring is mounted to the buffer for providing a buffer function between the buffer and the bore thereby helping maintaining the fluid film.
