  • Patent number: 11967112
Abstract: Described is a method for detecting a calibration requirement for image sensors in a vehicle. The method includes detecting a ground pattern in a generated image associated with a surrounding of a vehicle. The method includes extracting at least one key point associated with the detected ground pattern, from the generated image. The method includes determining a relative motion parameter associated with the extracted at least one key point based on tracking of the extracted at least one key point over a period of time. The method further includes detecting the calibration requirement for the image sensor based on the determined relative motion parameter and generating an output signal based on the detected calibration requirement.

  • Publication number: 20140055834
Abstract: A front windshield glass of an automobile with sunshine-shielding plate function comprises a lower glass layer, a lower polyvinyl butyral (PVB) layer, a flexible allochroic layer, an upper polyvinyl butyral (PVB) layer, and an upper glass layer consecutively laminated and connected with one another from bottom to top. The flexible allochroic layers are positioned at the upper portion of the front windshield glass of an automobile, the light transmittance of which reduces as the intensification of the light increases, thus functioning as sunshine-shielding plates. Due to the flexible allochroic layers being positioned at the upper portion of the front windshield glass of an automobile, such that the remaining portions of the front windshield glass of the automobile are still transparent glass, the view of the driver would be unaffected. The flexible allochroic layer is applicable to the production of curved front windshield glass having a certain radian.

  • Patent number: 5598425
Abstract: A source of electromagnetic radiation including an output, means for generating a drive signal derived from a regenerative feedback signal generated from a portion of said output, further characterized in that an electrical signal obtained from said portion of said output is passed through a narrow bandpass filter in generating said regenerative feedback signal, and means for modulating said electromagnetic radiation within the cavity when the modulating means is driven by said drive signal is disclosed together with a method of generating short pulse electromagnetic radiation signals including operating a electromagnetic radiation source having an output, generating a drive signal derived from a regenerative feedback signal generated from a portion of said output, further characterized in that said portion of said output is passed through a narrow bandpass filter in generating said regenerative feedback signal, and, modulating said electromagnetic radiation, said drive signal derived from a regenerative feed

  • Patent number: 5390202
Abstract: Filtered regenerative feedback is used to modulate a laser or other source of electromagnetic radiation to generate optical pulses whose amplitudes and repetition rates are continuously tunable. The technique is in principle applicable to any source of electromagnetic radiation and is especially effective for semiconductor diode lasers.
